  1. If only we all were..........Sounds like a good time...If anybody invited me to a party and said there is a keg of Boogie Woogie, well i'd just be too curious not to go.......And to support the people,,,, from the forum,, you know,,,,for the stuff,,,,,they do,,,you know,,,not just for the beer.
  2. MMmmm....Stingray....Yeessss...(He says in a diabolical voice)..
  3. Yeah this sucks, been meaning to try and buy some of his albums as of late.....Was gonna buy one with a glowing jellyfish on it, thinking it was his new one, figured i would go back and listen to some 30-90sec previews on iTunes before buying....It only came out like 3 or 4 years ago i think, but since then he came out with like 4 new albums. He really has a long list of original music....Cheers to Prince ...He was definitely always weird enough for me to always want to watch when he was on TV, you never knew how he was gonna dress or what the hell his stage was gonna look like, or what kinda song he was gonna sing...I'll miss him...
  4. Love F1!!!.......I don't think anyone will beat AMG/Petronas..Their turbo/hybrid was way ahead of the curve when it came out a few years ago, so much so that the board members at Ferrari fired the President of the company, and EVERYBODY involved with the old Ferrari engine. Mercedes were and are ahead of the engineering curve with their engine and chassis designs... I would LOVE better mic locations and a better sound mix with an emphasis on engine sounds rather than hearing the commentators for 3 hours straight. I love Hobbs, Matchet, Diffey and Buxton...miss Varsha....but just gimme more sound only onboards and pure trackside audio breaks....Pleeez....... I just returned from my annual trip to the 12hrs Of Sebring, its my 8th year going, missed 11', and 12'....I'm a huge endurance race fan of all types two and four wheel...The European two wheel endurance races are just punishment, but so beautiful and inspiring .The length those people go too to win is beyond most racing...but...But.. The IsleOfMann TT is "The Worlds Greatest Race" in my opinion...Nothing is more beautiful, and amazing to witness in the world of racing I believe...Its basically suicidal..Even the tandem bikes racing with the CoPilot hanging their heads and bodies over the side car...It's all NUTS!!!..Its' completely NUTS, and I friggin LOVE it. And the best sounding cars at the Sebring12hr were those factory Porsches the 911 and the 912, In my opinion...Those things Screamed...I always like the sound of smaller engines pushed to their limits than bigger restricted engines suffocated by rules..Happy Motorsporting
  5. I just like the way race gas smells.......I realize this is pointless, I just felt left out ...
  6. Cool video, never knew or have seen this before from Bose....The Bose ride for truck driver seats is a great invention..Here is to their happy asses .... The GM suspension is the Delphi system, MagnaRide. It's so good Ferrari uses it on the F12...
  7. Wow, thats a hell of an Honorable project you got. Would absolutely LOVE to hear and see it..... .....HOPE everything goes in your favor for the schedule GrandOpening/Pilgrimage.....Will be a wicked party
  8. .....Great Rock n'Roll isn't nice....It's naughty .
  9. If David Gilmour tours again for his new album, I'll definitely get tickets.....I think most of the great bands and performers that are still around are good enough to spot when the performance isn't working....I have been to so many concerts with grey, white, or bald performers, and left feeling like a little kid who just saw Santa take a dump off his roof, hop in his HotRod sleigh, and blaze a magical trail of friggin' fairy dust across the night sky.
  10. Cool Architectural models...... .......Now it's all Computer design programs.
  11. Funny you mention sonic booms. I was thinking of that earlier, was another reason I miss TheSpaceShuttle....When I lived in Clearwater, FL we were on the glide path for a landing.....I swear to you I though a tree hit the house. Sounded like someone had a battering ram and hit the side of the house with it...I didn't know it was coming, nor what it was for a few minutes ....I've only heard it that one time, and it was the strongest single thunder punch I've ever been blessed to hear..... .....My Grandfather worked for Bell aircraft in the 40's and 50's. My Dad says spending a few years near Edwards Air Force base they would always hear sonic booms....Those damn hotrodders.
  12. My dad is telling me about.......(A Diver in a bottle)....You hold a button on the top of a clear bottle with a diver enclosed and a treasure chest at the bottom, and the diver swims to the bottom, to the treasure chest. You release the button and he swims back to the top.. A Crystal Radio..
  13. Son is a Star scout and should make Eagle by this time next year. Still an incredible program when the leadership is passionate. As to summer camp...he goes to a band camp, an orchestra camp, a boy scout camp, and a church camp every summer. It's a stretch for us, but priceless in returns. Dave OK ,this makes me happy... Sounds like you got a good explorer/survivalist on your hands...It always makes me feel a little insecure when i hear survivalists talking about Nature. I used to be a scout, but only stayed in it for 2 years as the program was moved and i just never followed up...I regret that. But Holy Moses thats a LOT of camps..I don't think i could of done that as a kid....One was enough for me, it was in NC and i lived in FL so it was a big deal going that far away as a kid.
  14. Thats a great one.....The Walkman: Cassette or CD I never saw a landing in person or a night launch at the Cape, and I'm still aching to get into the VehicleAssemblyBuilding....Never seen an SR-71 in the sky...ever.. Kinda makes me a little sad to think about the future of aerospace design as we are making bigger and bigger leaps to take the pilot out of the cockpit....If we ever see a plane that out classes the YF-12 in style it probably won't have a pilot onboard..
  15. Boy scouts??? Girls scouts???...are they around anymore or am I just living in different circles.... Saturday morning cartoons Drive-inns...definitely miss those.. ...Ive had a dream of opening my own recently. The only arcade i know of is the Huge/Mega arcade at DowtownDisney that costs like 80$ to get in. SUMMER CAMP...I know those are still around but i miss it. 3 wheelers Rule!!! Peanuts in OrangeSoda?????.....WWWHHAATTT never came close to hearing of that....I'm totally trying it though, thank you. Always got chips delivered to my moms office.....Those chip tins. The Space Shuttle......,I used to live in South Florida and would watch the Shuttle every single damn time.....I have been known to run randomly through many a neighbors yard for a better view.
  16. Cool story....Thanks for sharing!!.....Lucy In The Sky with Vapor tracers helping "scientists understand the naturally occurring flows of ionized and neutral particles".....
  17. I remember these, love watching these music videos. I always saw them on PBS as well..... ..Good find
  18. Happy Birthday Youthman!!!......I will let you and all the rest jump from the plane. I'll watch from the ground with a beer, and rake the grass for a nice soft landing... ....I like the ground, and gardening, and............The ground ....."Hello ground"
  19. Same here, "The Most Interesting Man" does nothing but inspire thoughts of Boxx, his posts would always make me laugh or smile......Good times indeed..
  20. I really loved Christopher Lee... ...He even has some metal albums he sang on.....One is actually a Christmas Death metal album. .. I think it was produced not too long ago......There are some good interviews with him on UtOOB....Great legacy; The Mummy, Dracula, Star Wars, The Wicker Man...ect...
  21. Very cool documentary about an independent build of a one man sub to visit the deepest place on earth, The Mariana Trench. All of this lead by James Cameron.....I would of liked more info and footage of the building and engineering of the sub, but still a very cool documentary......I highly recommend it. .....It's on NetFlix if any of you have it.
