I use std 12 GA copper with gold banana plugs for units that accept them for speakers 16 GA lamp cord works fine too, it was the std when most of the Heritage speakers were designed Clamp connections on amps are fine too, easy and fast and cheap. RCAs I use Cables direct shielded with gold plated connectors Affordable, excellent flexibility, good connections I groom the cable on the backs of the racks to keep speaker cables from crossing power cords etc Belden makes excellent products, I use them for FM coax, zero loss over 100 ft runs for FM Belden in wall twisted pair cables probably outperform any other speaker cables of any kind. If I ever move or rewire I may use the twisted pair cables. Shielded USB cables Glass tosslink cables for optical isolation to prevent ground loops Std power cords, star into APC Sequencers with over and under protection also minimizes ground loop problems Everything that feeds my Mac pre-amp is plugged into it, again star grounding. I may buy another short inexpensive power strip and move all the plugs onto it, then into one jack on the back of the pre amp to clean up the power cord mess on the back of the preamp. Attach the power strip to the rack with strong cable ties.

There are likely several wood shops in town that would make you some cabinets to play with. Suggest inexpensive plywood and removable motor board, so you can experiment. Sounds good on paper vs sounds good. Lots of designs for wood cabinets have been out since the 1950s, math hasn't changed. The reason Klipsch is here and so many others are gone, is that PK understood declining marginal returns on his products. Chasing the last 1% of improvement is what we do, cost is the limiting factor

When we were stationed in Italy 45 years ago, it introduced me to good coffee and coffee bars. Lavaza and illy both have very tight process and product quality controls and buy direct from growers if I recall correctly. The problem with the exotics, is the ease of counterfeits given the small supplies and large demand. Columbia, Costa Rica, Ethiopia and Kenya all have low acid high quality product in large quantities. LaVazza and Illy have a lot of Kenyan and Ethiopian beans of high quality.

Depends on if the rf signal is analog or digital each has it's own set of issues. Likely digital, perhaps p to p Blutooth ? You have added two AD DA conversions assuming they pass the full spectrum. Just sub perhaps they only sample 20-200 and throw everything else away.

All three would work for you, LS, CW, Heresy 1-4 Vocals, LS is the clear winner. Piano is full scale, so you will want an EQ or tone controls to play with to match your ears. Thick rug in the middle of the room. Piano, ensure the slew rate and damping are excellent along with headroom, since the amp goes from zero to wide open on every hard strike. Also ensure the amp is rated up to the 80-100khz range. For rise and fall, the LS is the fastest speaker, fully horn loaded. Piano sounds great on mine. LaScalla will be almost all of the voice energy on the mid horn, avoiding cross overs If you can get the LS 4-6 in off the floor, the mid will be at ear level sitting. A good 20W Class A amp is all you need Cornwalls, same thing with some voice energy going to the woofer. 20W Heresy's on top of coffee tables are great, just have to turn up the Bass a bit. 20W For your room, the Heresys may be the best pick, I have a pair in a similar size room on coffee tables, sound great. Same mid driver as LaScalas on the older versions, not sure what they are doing today. K=horns too big and too tall, the mids are over your head, if you had a large room, high cathedral ceiling, and you are 20ft away, great. Bottom line 10-15 year old 75-100W used Yamaha, Harmon, or pioneer Elite THX AB amp, surround amp with room EQ mic and digital inputs may be killer for your application and can be had for $150 or less. Check the specs and read the reviews. I see them all the time for sale. Were in the $500-1000 range new. Built in DACS are great in many cases. Turn off all the surround stuff and you have a great integrated amp with build in DAC and EQ and a remote control. They are so affordable, you can score 3-5 of them and see which your ears like better, I have a bunch of them I have scored for $20 or less, some sold for near $1k new in 2000 and have killer fm tuners built in. Every amp has a personality. Would also suggest for your first Klipsch, score a pair of used Heresys before throwing down for CW, LS or K-horns. $400-900 range depending on age all versions are great if working properly, 1 or 2 should be recapped or new crossovers from crites.

Forte 2 s are highly desirable, going rate is $500, 600 mint The rest you would have to give away to sell it $600 for everything And they don't have a bunch of strangers in their home, who will only want individual speakers, after multiple auditions. I would keep the Fortes about 10-13 ft apart, and ditch the rest ASAP Mediocre surround, or killer stereo

At some point the sound will lose cohesion, start moving them closer till good cohesion is achieved You can then experiment with toeing the speakers out slightly from your chair At some point you will lose the sweet spot etc. On paper the subs are better in the corners, I have front firing Klipsch 12s. I like them in the center a few feet apart if 2, or off center if one, and forward of the TV if it's in the middle. They punch like Forman turned up.
