  1. Yes, they did! And they listed another pair of Ultra2 surrounds... I am going to sleep on it because I currently don’t have a need for them but it is hard for me to pass on good deals. Character flaw, which I am fully aware of:/
  2. Where are you located? We have a wonderful Klipsch dealer/member here that can probably keep you out of buying used. I have ordered quite a few speakers from him and have always received excellent service and prices: https://community.klipsch.com/index.php?/profile/59101-metropolislakeoutfitters/
  3. Just ordered these! Thank you very much for posting this!
  4. This opportunity is a great example of what makes this hobby so great! Go get em’!
  5. These look pretty sweet! I guess I haven’t been paying attention, because I had no idea these were even coming out. Do you know if there are any plans a for 6”, 4 woofer center speaker?
  6. I have owned a few of the RP series speakers and currently own the Ultras. I don’t think you would any problems using the RP250s with the Ultra line but I would use the RP’s as the back surrounds and have the 650’s function as your primary surrounds. Be sure to post photos of your theater room when you are finished. We love photos!

    You big horn guys..

Yeah, haha. No clue what these types of speakers are worth. Thought they were pretty cool though. Out of my price range, that’s for sure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  9. That’s one point of view but definitely not fact. We all have different versions of what sounds “better”. I have been on an experimental journey and I have tried just about every possible combination out there and I can tell you that a properly integrated subwoofer can make a world of difference. Especially when the area the OP is specifically looking to improve his low end performance. I have added and removed about 7 multichannel amplifiers and have tested out about 25 quality subwoofers these last 5 years. There is likely no better place for the money to be spent on home theater, than on a subwoofer and center channel, I’m my opinion. I am also an advocate for multichannel amplifiers but there have been times where I couldn’t hear much of a difference adding power amplifiers to a top shelf receiver. I think the OP should do both but sounds like he doesn’t have space for a sub. Adding an amplifier will probably make a nice improvement in sound, just not sure it will provide the low end, he is in search of. If space is tight, check out a sub like the SVS PC-4000, which takes up very little floor space. Just want to help you maximize your $/performance ratio OP🤑
  10. Add a subwoofer, to handle the low end! 😉
  11. I am just happy to hear it’s not only me.
  12. They aren’t all that big when it comes to size, that’s for sure. The sound on the other hand..
  13. I have always loved the sound and the compact size of subwoofers with dual radiators. Definitive SuperCube use this style along with the Klipsch 310 and 311. I just have one question... Would you like to build another? 😀
  14. I like my Klipsch Speakers unwrapped and having the center’s tweeter, off to one side would drive me bonkers. Mother than that, this speaker bar looks very impressive!

    What I Got Today!

Picked up some Magnepan MG II’s, to use in the vintage 2 channel system I have been building. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I have owned many Goldenear speakers and lack of bass, definitely shouldn’t be an issue. I am also having some setup issues with my new speakers and I just ordered these, to help with the room acoustics: https://m.ebay.com/itm/Studio-Acoustic-Foam-CityBlox-Hybrid-Next-Acoustics-PRO-Performance-Panels-24sf/282989499682?epid=1804004336&hash=item41e37d1522%3Ag%3AiogAAOSw7GRZHmJa&_sacat=0&_nkw=acoustic+panels&_from=R40&rt=nc I also ordered 4 of these for my front speakers and subwoofers: https://m.ebay.com/itm/Auralex-SubDude-V2-Subwoofer-Sub-Woofer-ISOLATION-PAD-NEW-PERFECT-CIRCUIT/292370036494?hash=item44129cb70e%3Ag%3A384AAOSwC-taMcxy&_nkw=subdude+subwoofer&_from=R40&rt=nc I am planning on starting a setup thread, from start to finish, as soon as I get some time. I am hoping to get advise from members here and I think that thread will be relevant to your friend. Definitely have your friend invest in and thick pile area rug, that made a noticeable difference in my room.
  17. Are you also keeping the Dayton subs? That is a massive room and I think even 2 15’s would get lost but if you had the 2 new 15’s and dual Dayton 12’s, you might get away with it. That is a nice budget in most rooms, just not a room as cavernous as that one:)

  19. Wow! Someone is a happy camper.
  20. The new Denons have bench tested extremely well, especially the 3400 and up. I have had 5 Pioneer receivers with I.C.E amps and D3 amps and I loved all of them. Ran across anopen box X-3400 and decided to give it a shot. I love the ease of use the Denon provides and the sheer power the Pioneer receivers produced. I believe all the big brand, upper end, receivers these days offer very good overall performance. People will defend what they own, it’s human nature, but the good news is that you have quite a few very good options out there.

    What I Got Today!

Congratulations! That is supposed to be one heck of a sub, let us know your impressions once you get some seat time.
  22. That is a great deal! I just paid $2,250 for 3 650’s and I thought I did good.
  23. English might be a second language 🤔
  24. Yes, that seems like a pretty good deal. The RF3’s sell around the $200 - 300 range alone. If the condition is good, you got a great deal.
  25. You want to sell me your’s I will buy and sell you these? https://seattle.craigslist.org/oly/ele/d/klipsch-speakers-forte-ii/6658415513.html
