  4. Klipsch capacitors kits from @JEM Performance sound better than Sonicaps - JEM can also recap your crossovers if you can't do it yourself - https://jemperformanceaudio.com/
  5. you have the AK5 Top hat ---you can have a cabinet maker replicate it no time with Baltic Birch or veneered MDF ----can't get better than this -
  6. gone for sure ---the price was very reasonable -
  7. I hope you're very handy with woodworking , a kHORN is not an easy at all to build as far as the bass bin -- you're much better off purchasing a Lascala uned or a khorn used -
  8. that repair could be a breeze , I would buy it in a heartbeat
  9. klipsch speakers will grow on you , and in no time
  10. the hardest components to make for a speaker is the motorboard , I would buy 3 motorboards from Crites speakers , these are cut from 3/4 inch Birch wood , the rest of the panels can be cut with plans at any lumber yard who have a good track saw - the only issue would be the K500 mids horn , these are longer than the K600 , they would require the fabrication of a square wood extension at the rear of the cab to allow the driver to jot out and be contained in the wood housing - the k 500 would also improve the sound being a 500Hz Horn -
  11. great shape--------excellent condition , so yeah ------price is fair for 1980 Lascala ------for 2021 price of course -

  16. my Heresy speakers are much Higher off the ground , and the sound is sublime, I would place them on stands , or even subs or cabinets at least 2 feet high , and you'll be very impressed , they shine at ear level @carlthess40 is 100% right on that one , the higher the better , here 's Carl's setup on stands
  17. Bobby ran out of the older parts with the Beryllium leads about 10 years ago Mike's Email / I can no longer get the diaphragms with the beryllium leads. The only rebuild option I have for K-77s, now is the kit that is used in the K-77F Thanks, Michael Crites, Owner B&K Enterprises
