you were the one who bought the pair near Boston - congratulations -how heavy were these to carry - great - we were wondering who bought them - I bought mine in Maine. I am not sure who got the cane pair north of Boston yesterday "-how heavy were these to carry?" about 175 pounds and I thought that scalas and cornwalls were heavy -123 lbs for the scala - 108 for the cornwall - 175 for the k horn - wow
-
very nice - all they are missing is a badge
-
does anyone have any idea how they used to make these lines on the laser logo - are these painted on -heat stamped - I always wondered -

the wiring job is nicely done -the woofers dont match - the veneer on the riser does not match - the crossover caps are 40 years old -very sad to see a rip off like this on ebay -
-
or just plain dirty -lack of hygiene , during the process of making the beer - if it isnt capped and Union Made ,. dont drink it -
-
basically - like a new speaker -

I can imagine how hard it was to let these go - then comes the hard work since these are not the lightest of speakers to carry out of a home either - -
yeah - great shape - they will sell - fast -

the eliptrac/de750 does make a lot of sense - whithout the crossover ALK -3 inch voice coil - 18khz - that would mean a frequency response of 40-50 htz - 18khz which is very equivalent to a 3 way Scala 2 -

your Scalas are very nice -and definitely not stock gear - thank you for the real time sampling of this otherwise superb setup -
-
you must have good neighbours or they are not close by -- or you live on a farm

I believe that is to mount grills... If you enlarge the photo, you can see that the top and bottom braces are only a strip attached to the top and/or bottom. Bruce Thanks Bruce , I saw that - I can see a screw on the brace to secure the grilles as well -the cabinet is built like Fort Knox ,- most obliged Randy

khorns -AK3-K55M-K77M - mint condition - -
That's the way i got them, and after clean up they went right back in the same holes. Never seen another pair quite like those. on all rounded corners LSI AL network K43 -K55M-K77M whether split or not - the bass bins were already very stiff compared to the older regular corner LSI K43-K55V-K77 AA network - they were better built by far - with much stronger stiffer panels from the factory - the LSI speaker we see here - has the stiffer panels and should have been an AL or later network version -with the terminals plate with 2 fuseholders - with the Volti Audio braces added , this cabinet must be rock solid even at high outputs -

Very nice indeed - did you make the braces yourself -you have 6 braces on the cab - 2 bottom - 2middle-2 top - plus thicker walls on the sides and back - I would have thought that 2 braces were sufficient - are these scala 2 or scala bins - that would mean you have at minimum 1.5 inches on the side and rear - how have the braces helped overall not including the bottom bass port -
-
these are already 3/4 inch ,that would bring them up to 1.5 inches thick - can there be vibrations by adding new panels over the cab -
