Thanks for the info guys, I wound up buying a pair (open box) from Newegg for $180 includes shipping! Just got them and they look great, will test them tomorrow. I put an ohmmeter to them and got a reading of 3.5 ohms on both. -

Well the thing is, the 600m got all the accolades the past 2 years (in fact I bought a pair for my son, he loves them) and now I see the 160m which looks 99.7% the same, maybe the crossovers are different? Steve -

001, have you used these stands before? And do you think the stands would work better than the Pyle soundproofing pads I found on Amazon?

Anybody know what I’m looking for for soundproofing?

Feng shui is just like astrology, utter nonsense.

Thanks, the weight seems fine for the Pyle soundproof risers. Anybody use a different material for soundproofing speakers from the floor below? Pissing off the neighbors is no problem, but me and my music upstairs and my wife trying to read downstairs, that’s a horse of a different color, as a famous wizard once said.

Dean’s networks look just fine to me. -
It’s been 2 years, anybody ever find out what the weight is? I’m looking at Pyle soundproofing risers for my Cornwalls on Amazon and they are rated up to 100 lbs.

Klipsch RC-64III Center Speaker-Black Ash - SOLD!!!
Dr Morbius replied to RLink's topic in Garage Sale
Decent price I must say! -
Dave, those are gorgeous!!!!! Looks more than $5,000 speakers and that’s American.

I went with classic 60 year old HH Scott 299C and 299D’s. Redone by NOS Valves should be good for another 45 - 50 years or so. Scott amps have huge transformers and I just couldn’t be happier!

Not good brother but great brother. My brother would have taken my Cornwalls and my tube amp!

rp-8000f Reduce the Brighness of the RP-8000f-floorstanding-speakers
Dr Morbius replied to robertkjr3d's topic in Home Theater
I found when testing or adjusting speakers I use a CD called Switched-On Bach, made over 50 years ago and still sounds amazing. Wide range of frequencies and sharp attacks. On the added plus side it’s great listening to. -
Not sold yet? ……..Wow!
