  1. Bill, thanks for that info man. Now I can keep looking for that RSw15and this paradigm, even though discontinued I bet the latter will be easier to find, i"ll be checking ebay, looks pretty cool too
  2. those little MP tube amps are so cool, i"ve got to get me one, at 300 bucks everybody should have one, I mean what does 300 buy these days. I talked with a forum member at audiokarma who had one hooked to a set of K"s, he said at 3 watts you couldnt stay in the room, cool lookin little dude too. As the op said, you really need a set of klipsch heritage to appreciate that amp....Roost
  3. Carl, now that i"ve figured out the RSW"s wont hook to 2-channel their popping up all over the place. Thats a good deal on that 12 guys
  4. those chorus ll"s may be worth a look, specially if you can get him down to 6 hun or so, if their clean
  5. I"m gonna overlook the fact that your a hog fan and say those are super nice, should get your price easy, yall shoulda never fired Patrino for bangin that fine blonde, one helluva coach.....suuuuueeeee ( dont know if I spelled that right)
  6. beautiful XRL, I need to get my daughter to take a pic of the KX so I can post it for you guys, most folks have never seen one, and very few could even start one
  7. Hollow, man I love that yammi, I remember those well. Doyou still own that, what a cool rig to tool the neighborhood on
  8. little off topic here but have any of yall ever dared to ride a KX 500. When I heard kawasaki were discontinuing them in 2004 I bought 2 new ones, one is still in the crate. I"ve been riding my whole life and there is nothing in this world that gives the thrill of a 500cc 2-stroke, their totally insane. I also have a mint RM 500, RM 465, and a IT 490. Try 0 to 90 in 100 yards on dirt with the front wheel never touching the ground till about the 60 yard mark, hence my screen name. These new 4-strokes just dont have the crazy, almost uncontrolable hit that the big 2"s have, I tried a new honda 450x, and sold it, way to much maint.
  9. Speak, check out the tube amps by Musical Paradise in Canada, all hand built and their entry amp is 299. killer little amp man
  10. dang, the guy got showered with negativity on his first post, all he wanted was an idea of their worth. MJ complaines about him wasting his time but takes time to fire back a half page rant, I dont get it, of coarse i"m kinda new myself. OP, I personally think its not a bad deal, go check em out, if you dig em offer him 100 bucks less like another poster said, bring a truck, their big. Regards....Roost

    KLIPSCH RSW-15

I was looking hard for one of these till I found out it wouldnt hook to my 2-chan rig, damm shame cuz they look bad-a
  14. could be that since they are barely even klipsch anymore may have something to do with it, I know when I first read this post a long time ago I thought that. The only thing klipsch is the box and the woof, is that correct. I intend to buy a set of LSI"s one day, and if mods are needed I would like to stay klipsch with everything but maybe the x-over"s, which would come from Bob. I dont doubt these sound amazing but some folks are funny about that kind of stuff..........Roost
  15. how do they sound compared to your altecs, big difference ??
  16. thanks guys, this is such a great forum
  17. Actually, my brother has to go to Corpus once a month for work. I spoke to the guy on the phone for awhile and he seemed like a good guy, so I mailed him the money in good faith and my brother will be picking it up in two weeks. I know i know I could get burned, but I dont think so, middle aged , works on the military base down there, maybe i"m to trusting. But look at that 1280, original owner, has the papers, mint mint, its worth the gamble....Roost
  18. USNRET, thanks to your post ole Roost slid in and snagged this monster, I now have both 12"s, both 10"s, both 9"s and both 8"s
  19. exactly, how far south, he may be in monroe county
  20. I dont think the op mentioned chorus, but I have a set of Cll"s and my buddy has original cw"s, both unmolested. For a few years we both had near identicle amps, pioneer sx-1080 and 1050, imo the cll"s smoked the cw"s. I know there is about a 15 year difference there, and he badly needs to update the cw"s, but the chorus takes up half the space and sound so much better, would like to hear a set of cwlll"s. I believe the size of the cw"s really impresses alot of folks and they are a little swayed by that alone. If i"m not mistaken that is the reason PWK came out with the chorus in the first place, the original cw was just a huge box with alot of empty wasted space, so he re-designed it and called it chorus. I also think the Cll with the passive sounds quite a bit better than the first ported Cl. Like another poster said, I would buy whatever comes up in the heritage line and play with them awhile, if you buy smart you can always get your money back plus some.......Roost
  21. seems like some speakers benefit from a sub more than others. I have a set of heresy"s and a set of chorus ll"s, the H"s without a doubt need a sub. On the other hand the C ll"s do just fine hooked to that big 1250, tons of low end. I"ve also heard from many folks that la scala"s need a sub for sure, and the big K"s dont, hopefully before too long I will get to find out for myself........Roost
  22. and if your runnin a tube amp, about 5 watts is all you can take, so I hear
  23. second ivan, what is that, why dont we all have one of those
