Yes, great sounding player. I have two, but unfortunately one developed laser problems and doesn't read discs very well anymore. That's the thing with these older players, who knows how many hours the laser has left? So it's best to have more than one, since they're bargain priced nowadays ;-).

Those Maggies had my interest too. I would have had to check them out beforehand, though. Too many stories of the panels delaminating. You definitely don't see those big ones for sale often. The Patrician was cool, but dang, it needed a lot of work. I enjoyed seeing all that great gear listed! Wish we could have snagged some better prices lol.

Yeah, he has two pairs for sale. JBL and Klipsch. Not sure why he has the wrong text description for the JBLs. I texted him to ask if he meant JBLs, yes 400. I don't know much about those Klipsch.

A recap of the crossover might help too. It worked wonders with my Tangent T-5000 (similar to Fortes). I used Jantzen crossover caps from Parts Express.
