  1. Oops, I just ordered a pair of these AMT tweeters.
  2. Ok, I should have remembered that from the earlier post. Looking at internet images of this tweeter, I see a picture of the ESS AMT 10b that has an enclosed cabinet mounting. Is this detrimental to the appeal of the AMT as a dipole radiator?
  3. I watched a video of the ClearVue in action and it is interesting to see the sawdust being separated from the air stream.
  4. Does this depend on the location of the tweeter sitting on top of the Cornwall?
  5. I had been wondering about that squawker or no squawker connection as for the cabinet orientation.
  6. I like these tweeters so much that I bought one for the center channel.
  7. Good deal !!! Protect them from the wind and weather while driving down the highway.
  8. CNC cut cabinet pieces in a flat pack, with detailed assembly instructions, at a fair price. One thing I would "upgrade" if assembling some of these is the driver mounting wood screws. I would use machine screws with T-nuts.
  9. That one appears to be in excellent condition. I am guessing it is a Teak finish. Beautiful piece of good sounding furniture, if you have the space for it.
  10. Those Klipschorns appear to be a good deal. Yes the K-400 mid horn is aluminum. You should get them, or show @tomy2 where to get them, before the Phoenix based eBay guy finds them and raises the price.
  11. Yes, need to have the gain adjusted properly for the speaker system to sound good. Or you could just build a new bigger bass bin!!! 😄
  12. Sound advice. My 2 HP Grizzly dust collector takes up a lot of space, but I would not want to saw without it. Because I only saw on rare occasions, it is triggered by an iVac ProSwitch that turns the dust collector on when the saw motor starts. Thanks for showing us your ClearVue cyclone, I think I want one now.
  13. The bass bin section of the Belle is only 23x18x29 inches.
  14. My "Eye Opening Experience" was listening to all the fine speakers and amps at CES 2018 and then hearing the Klipschorns. They were the most impressive sounding speakers at the show. Just ask @Chief bonehead, he was there making sure they were performing as they should.
  15. I want to give credit to @jwgorman for his thread that inspired me to buy the Planar horn tweeters. They sound very good in my room.
  16. It is the Dayton Audio Planar Horn tweeter. The 105 db sensitivity allows it to be used with a stock passive crossover. Sounds very good and it's dispersion pattern is well suited to the setback from the front edge of the speaker for time alignment positioning. In my case, it is bolted to the overhead shelf.
  17. Good to see that. Could get even better when you fine tune your miniDSP settings.
