  1. Sorry I should have stipulated. Looking for one pair.
  2. Can you ballpark what you want per pair of the Lascalas...
  3. Aymen, depending on the amount you want to spend I would look at Emotiva amps. An XPA-7, XPA-5 or some mono blocks would do amazing things for you Klipsch.
  4. Your amp is probably clipping. Maybe, tune it down a bit. Either through your amp controls or your sub controls.
  5. Nice turntable and even nicer price. I had the exact same table years ago with an AT132EP cartridge and it sounded really nice.
  6. I did the same thing with my modified kg4's. Two vertical for fronts and one horizontal for center. They sound really good for home theater use so I can only imagine how good the RF-7's would sound. Very nice job.
  7. I still have a 720P Panasonic plasma I bought new many years ago and it works flawlessly. If you can afford it, and have a safe way of transporting it home I would say get it. The picture even in 720P mode is fantastic on the Panny plasmas.
  8. Nope, they charge to transfer it to the store. In fact they offered to ship to my house at the same price. I would have to pick up cables though to work with the speakon outputs to my five way binding posts so I figured I could just pick it all up in store. Pretty much talked me out of it.
  9. Hey Youthman, I use the Emotiva XDA-2 preamp in all of my two channel systems. It only accepts digital inputs so I am not sure if that will work for you. I love the way it has a built in DAC and headphone amp and allows for dual amplification via dedicated XLR and RCA outputs. I run a pair of first gen Heresy's via my Emotiva XPA-2 amplifier while I enhance the low end with two powered subs hooked up via RCA. Sounds amazing......they are also super affordable. Only about $250 brand new and warrantied for five years. Worse case scenario try one out for free for thirty days. Really nothing to lose!
  10. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Emotiva-UMC-200-/331513443526 Jade Design (Emotiva's corporate office has a preamp with warranty on Ebay right now at a pretty fair price.
  11. https://emotiva.com/products/pres-and-pros/umc-200 I have heard it is a great pre for the money. Great warranty as well! Temporarily sold out on Emotiva site but you can find them on Ebay.
  12. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pair-Klipsch-CF-3-Epic-Floorstanding-Loudspeakers-Audiophile-Speakers-Med-Oak-/321704982089?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4ae71c7649 On Ebay now. No affilliation or anything but sounds like a nice deal
  13. Thanks, I will update. I will have them set up with a pair of RS-3's and an RC-35 center so everything should sound similar.....and good!
  14. Can you let me know what shipping would be. Feel free to message me. Tim
  15. Hey Pats, does the 185 include shipping to MI?
  16. Wow, those are really nice deals.............tempting...
  17. There are a few different pairs custom modded like that at extremely crazy prices. Like the previous poster added, they are relisted constantly....No thanks.
  18. I know that with most Klipsch speakers a flea powered amp will make them sing but with the larger woofers they still need power to move air. I have two pair of Infinity SM 150 and 155 with 102bd efficiency but the low power amps and receivers barely move the woofers, whereas with the big power amps they come to life. I would assume that would be the caase with La Scalas, Corwalls or whatever as well....no?
  19. There is no substitute for power....that's my motto. If the amp is back and working as it should just think of the dynamic range, power reserves and headroom this monster amp gives you. I say it's a keeper!
  20. I am sure these little masterpieces rarely if ever come up for sale but I will keep my eye out for them.
  21. Thanks plissken99. I can't imagine why they sell so reasonably priced when compared to the Heritage and Palladium lines. I have heard the JBL cinema speakers in a surround setting and have pictured they would sound great for two channel as well but never had the pleasure of hearing it for myself. Since I prefer the Klipsch sound, to that of the JBL I would fathom I would really....really enjoy a pair of these. I saw a few variations with the huge tweeter horn, and a huge mid horn. Coupled with two 15's they must sound out of this world!
  22. Just wondering guys. How do these speakers such as the 904 and related sound when set up as two channel stereo?
  23. Glad to hear they took it in immediately to check it over while you were there to pick it back up. Sucks about the drive but I am hoping as I am sure we all are that you got it back fully functional.
