  1. Add the new fronts with atmos, move a set to rear (unless you don't want rear). Atmos (theoretically) will enhance your sound stage. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Yes, but, you need an AVR that can support it. If you don't have rears, how do you have 5.2? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Understood. I'm an Oiled Walnut nut myself. 🙂
  4. No, the ad lists "2 for sale".
  5. 1 picture and condition of 9/10; what's not to love? Maybe they are convincing themselves they need to ask these prices based on what new ones are going for (thinking they have the same thing).
  6. Very nice! Have you spent any time listening to them? You may change your mind about selling them, if you do. I'll wait for the experts to chime in on fair asking price; obviously you can ask whatever you want, but there is a price range that these will sell for (and it's not anywhere near five grand).

    F'ing mosquitos

Having a ZTR should disqualify you from complaining. I'm basically only going outside to a vehicle or there are fans and bbq smoke involved. I hate those blood sucking *******. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Is it the DACs?

  9. I wanted to add that I think the insulation sheet acts as a floor as it is in direct contact with the La Scala and the rack shelf. I am often surprised at how much bass I am experiencing, actually. I'll have to meter some music and post the results. This was a pic I took when moving them. The sliders are not under the rack and as this is not the position it's in.
  10. Not in my experience. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. This shows one on the insulation and shelf/rack. As far as positioning, this is Not it's final resting place. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Elevated the sound field. They are sitting on a piece of insulation purchased at Home Depot and on restaurant shelving. I think the insulation actually improved the low end response, but I have no data to prove that (only what I hear). I will post a pic as soon as I find one... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. How do you have them positioned? Mine are elevated about 14 inches, toed in a bit, and about a foot from the wall at the closest point. Granted mine have AL-3 crossovers, and I use the variable flat loudness on my Yamaha preamp, but I get plenty of bass. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I'll also suggest looking into a system with infinite flat loudness control (Yamaha). Being able to somewhat control low end power to mids and highs in any volume range brings enjoying your speakers to another level; no pun intended. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. You don't want a sub to run for hours with your music system? Not logical. You have created your own problem. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Maybe you need a different sub? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  18. 86, eh? My 90s have AL-3s. I can't get rid of them; they sound that good (to me). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Maybe post a description of the link or a screen grab of it because searching for them isn't bringing them up. I dislike white buffalos [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Looks like Walnut Oiled (WO) to me. I have pairs of WO finished pairs fwiw. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Interested in shipping the receiver? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
