  1. The node 2i has a built in DAC so you don’t have to buy a Denefrips DAC.
  2. I love music. I have hundreds of LPs but I now stream more than I spin. However I love spinning and my TT analog setup is very enjoyable We saw The Who last night in Concert and they were fantastic and this morning I spun Quadrophenia on MY Mofi Fender TT and it sounded fantastic. There are many ways to enjoy music.
  3. Thanks for that heads up. I will call Kat at Upscale and setup a demo of the Western Electric versus an EVO 400 like mine. I can’t imagine spending $15,000 for an amp but I’d still love to hear it. It is clearly above my bank account situation but it’s fun to dream about cool audio gear.
  4. I like my Bluejeans cables and they are very reasonably priced, have option of locking Banana Plugs and look very clean throughout my system. I never have to even think about cables and thats one less thing to have to analyze.
  5. I love my Primaluna and have Zero desire to replace it but I am always curious about different audio gear. When I read glowing reviews of Pass Labs amps or Decware amps etc… I want to hear them in my living room. This is the same way I feel about Wilson Speakers or Revel, JBL, Focal or Tannoy etc etc… being curious is different from being unhappy with my system. My EVO 400, Forte IVs, REL sub, provide hours of musical enjoyment every day.
  6. I would love to hear this compared to my EVO 400!!! I am just always curious! but ----- since I don't have an extra $15,000 sitting around I guess I will have to stay curious. I'm always amazed when people spend over $50,000 for a pair of speakers and over $10,000 for an integrated amp or more on separates.
  7. That is very disappointing. So much hype and stringing people along.
  8. Beautiful amp I bet it sounds awesome with those kt 150s GLWS
  9. The Lonely Bull sounds freaking amazing on these speakers, WOW!
  10. While listening to some music today I realized that my Fortes sounded better than I ever noticed while playing music with lots of Horns like Chicago, Louise Armstrong, Herb Albert and Honk. So if you love horns Klipsch excels with music featuring trumpet, sax etc,
  11. After about 50 hours my Forte IVs started to sound pretty darned good. After that I have just listened to a lot of music without analyzing their performance. 100s of hours enjoying them and they sound fantastic day in day out. I just listen to music and let the equipment break in as I listen. My Primaluna plays many hours a day and it is always driving my Forte IVs.
  12. That toolshead amp is beautiful. I remember when you and I got our Forte IVs. They sounded better than I ever imagined and with many hours of breakin they sound even better. I spend many hours enjoying them.
  13. That was exactly the feedback I was looking for. Thanks much
  14. I love my fortes just trying to understand how many speakers are so darned expensive and wider what they sound like
  15. So many people on this forum only are curious about Klipsch speakers
  16. Anyone ever compare Wilson Watt Puppies with Klipsch Forte IVs?
  17. My ma252 integrated had a nice sounding phono stage but when I bought my EVO 400 it had no built in phono stage. I got a musical fidelity phono stage that sounded fantastic but I wanted to check out the Puffin and with my MoFi Fender TT and Puffin my vinyl experiences are better than ever. Synergy Synergy
  18. Hilarious and I don’t know Roy but it sounds about right.
  19. My Forte IVs are 12 inches off back wall and 9 feet apart from each other. I sit approx 10 feet back from them and aim that straight out. No toe in.
  20. I have Forte 1s and Forte IVs and the forte IVs play much deeper and wider than the 1s. I love them. So dynamic and fun! Roy just knocked it out of the park with the iVs
  21. Being an extremely shy guy it was sometimes very difficult working with beautiful women. As much as I struggled I was able to get over the fear of creating images for the women and my clients.
  22. This is my beautiful wife. The image I posted above was Crystal Hefner the widow of Hugh Hefner. I was the personal photographer for Crystal for almost 10 years. Been married to my wife for almost 25 years.
