This is a good thread either way as it can introduce many to quality, excellent sounding bargain amps that may have previously been unfamiliar. OK I'll quote myself since I just said that thanks above your comment. It is a place for sharing. People will benefit from this thread by posting what each feels is great sounding, value priced gear that will reach many.

Btw, I used to work at the good guys in early 2000s and I sold that amp. We sold VERY VERY few of them while I was there for 2 years. I could have gotten that amp 75% manufacturer direct, but I didn't do so. I chose to get a much slimmer discount and got B&K instead. I didn't feel it much better than a top of the line yamama at the time. When we were bored, we did extensive listening tests and friendly arguing.

Just an alert, there are a few f-bombs in this little tune. Just an alert, the genre is riddled with F bombs and discussion of nonsense. I don't have a problem with that per se, however when two words, one starting with F and one starting with N are the apparent sole focus and content of most of the songs, things can only be so exciting. Every once in a never, I will listen to certain underground hip hop or something of the likes. Rare however.

How about your phone? Assuming you have line level inputs on a preamp or integrated of some sort? Go to the 99 cents store and get a headphone to aux cable. Play pandora same artist and match the song. Just to scratch something else off the list before tearing into things so to speak.
