Would like to get some K-510 horns with the B&C drivers ... Have a set of KPT-904's and LOVE them ... primarily due to the K-510 horns. Looking at building a smaller set (similar to the KPT's but closed; not ported) to save some space. Found another set of KPT-904's (see my listing under "Garage Sale/Alerts), but too cheap to buy these as I believe (???) that I cannot use the woofers in a closed box. Don't need any brackets ... gave "mine" away to a member 6 months ago Also, (sorry) have no clue what they would be worth to me as I am just "experimenting." Many thanks, Emile

Think the KPT-904 woofers (not sure of the type) probably were designed for a ported box ... making transfer to a closed box difficult ?????

Yeah; no clue. But this happens over and over again with "newbies." Tried to buy a couple of things from "newbies," without any response. I find it extremely annoying and think we should have a policy against this ... something like "no sales until a member for x months or feedback of + x. Just my 2 cents

Haha ... my stereo system with a cassette player, a LaserDisc, a DAT player and a couple of reel to reels But ... did not add a Betamax (or VHS) player Just too advanced for me Have been looking for a nice console stereo for a week now but have not found one with Atmos

Anyone has any thoughts if I could put the woofers in a closed (non-ported) cabinet and greatly reduce the size? Love these speakers, but just don't have enough room for another KP-450 (??) bass bin. Thanks and Cheers, Emile

Yes; saw those But .... really want the K510 horns ... bass bin is "big" (as you know ... think you have a pair) ... so trying to "reduce" the size of those and KEEP the horns

OK; got a pair of KPT-904's and love them ... found another set on FleaBay ... just do not have enough room The bass bins (not sure ... KP-450's? ) of course are humongous. But they are "ported," so if I build a closed box for them it would be much smaller (and might fit "somewhere"). Am I crazy or just stupid? Haha ... appreciate your thoughts. Cheers, Emile

OK; you all convinced me Will have some KP-3002 next week and try them outside. (Haha, with lobster on the grill and chilled vino ) If I like it I may buy a second pair of KPT-904's (posted in Alerts' section) ... could even try to find some big 402 horns for those Cheers, Emile

No affiliation ... but have a pair and they are AWESOME! Paid less for mine but might get these if they drop below $1000 even though I have no place for them. Was wondering if there is a speaker switch that can be used with tube amps ... not even sure if it possible since the tube amps require an ohm load Any switch would temporarily disconnect. But getting a new (old) pair of KP-3002's and wanted to try those with my Bob Latino VTA ST70 (without unplugging my Forte's). Many thanks for any inputs! Cheers, Emile
