  2. Ok, ok, you win... Gonna have to scroll back now and check some of this out. Just me so modifications WILL be necessary! Paper plates are a step up for me though. Usually a Bounty unless I break out my high class Corelle! lol
  3. John ya just keep posting winners! Make sure you get 'em all before you kick him to the curb! hahahaha Great album!
  4. Great job! Soooo much gear and someday a roadtrip! You've got it all workin brother!
  5. Whew glad that's cleared up Neil. Last report I'd heard was MSU. Now we'll see what shakes out of it all!
  6. Jimmy Olson cub reporter HAS left the building! hahahaha blue is also negotiating a long term contract w/Harbs. 6-8 years! His present one isn't over til next season. I hope they give it to him. Can you imagine we could be on a 16 game win streak before he leaves? HAHAHAHAHA! GO BUCKS!
  7. @wvu80 Don't know if our posts look alike or not haven't read yours. Just read mine and posted it. Here's my take on all of this and something that has been eating at me for a year and I think Neil can relate to my thoughts. Jim Lachey's son elected to go to MSU, which is fine. It's his choice and w/his parents involved I'm sure they agreed. Here's the hooker. His dad was a former Buckeye, Washington Redskin w/countless Pro-Bowls and does color coverage every Saturday on the radio at OSU. OSU wanted him to play but for whatever reason he went to MSU. Possibly not getting a chance for playing time @ OSU or the academic angle. I didn't know. He did what he did. Back in Nov. I mentioned to Neil I heard Coach Dantonio was stepping down and the replacement was going to be Luke Fickell who left OSU to become the replacement. Luke recruited Lachey's son to go to Cinn yet he went to MSU. Soooooo who knows what's gonna shake out. Whoa! Now this??? JUST saw it!!! https://www.lansingstatejournal.com/story/sports/college/michigan-state/spartans/2020/02/04/luke-fickell-michigan-state-football/4658067002/
  8. @DizRotus There ya go brother! Keep an eye on Luke now! We'll see. https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/mark-dantonio-abruptly-resigns-as-michigan-state-coach-amid-allegations-of-ncaa-violations/?fbclid=IwAR0I4gU9ju6MvDielbz60zjgnATByNLFxHdCsazZV2Cd-zSDcXS2z0I4GPk
  9. Nice looking table. My problem is when I see something like this going on ebay and don't really need it I NEVER get back there to see what it actually did sell for. lolol Always some cool things on ebay it seems.
  10. I'm always amazed by those that AREN'T on the list yet. Went there for the "pre-opening" brew ha ha. Even though Cleveland is only a couple hours from me I've never been back. I could NEVER get by the Jimi exhibit and a few others who have passed. Maybe someday before I croak.
  11. Nice shot! Kid was prolly tickled ya got it! Had a real nice series of OSU's Jim Jackson once throwin down a tomahawk jam over Steve Smith from MSU. HUGE B1G game years ago for both teams. Found out later from JJ when I gave him some pics that he loved it. Said they made a bet. Told me the loser had to deliver their game worn shoes to the winner's locker room after the game. Said he was soooo glad they won. Too funny!
  12. Philly's are great BUT you can't find a good one around here. Think I had a good one once up in Cleveland but that was long ago. East coast are usually great but I can't figure out why I ALWAYS wind up wearing mine.
  13. Hit 60 here yesterday, which is a bit crazy. Think if broke a record or was close. Rain coming in then that "wintery mix." Next week back up into the 40's and a bump up to 50 late in the week. When I quit plowing snow a few years ago I bought a nice BIG Cub Cadet auto-everything blower. Wondered about global warming at the time but bought it anyway. 8 passes down the drive guiding it. Happy boy! Used it twice in 4 years. Sure looks pretty sittin out there ready to go. Blech! ☹️
  14. Spending a lil time today just nosin a bit after some running around. Some may have heard of Mike Portnoy. Neil Peart's buddy who Peart first met when he was like 15 and became very good friends with over time. Mike spent like 10 years w/the group Dream Theater and other groups since. If you've never heard of him let me introduce you to him. He CAN hold his own! Enjoy "Train of Thought" was Dream Theater's 7th studio album released in 2003. Portnoy said it was written in response to a heavier and even darker audience of heavy metal fans taking only 3 weeks to write. Trust me it IS that!
  15. Tossed these on Sunday evening. Janis Ian, folk rocker who admired Joan Baez released this in 1967. Different sound then but she had a nice lil following "Listen Like Thieves" is a 1985 release by that Aussie group INXS. Their fifth album spent two weeks at #1 down under then migrated to the US. Considered their breakthrough album here in the US peaking at #11. Billy Idol released "Vital Idol" in 1980 comprised of many of his hits to that date.
  16. HEAR we go! ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ 😂

    NFL 2019

Eh, the halftime show was amazeballs wasn't it? hahahaha Nah, no more snow. It snowed and covered the yard a bit then melted off. About 50 Sunday and today it's supposed to be mid 50's. Sunny and bright out today for some reason. "The Heart of it All" yanno. Gotta love Ohio weather! HA!

KC balled there's no doubt about it. Crunch time they got it done and made it look easy moving the ball.
  19. Yea, whined to the VA AND monthly beer money. Nothing insulting nor is it rude. It's fact and happens every day more than you know. Have you seen the statistics? I have. Yea, I DO get it. Like no one wants to "get over" on the VA? Some are deserving of the benefits and I commend those who are. I will ALWAYS stand w/my brothers and sisters in arms. I'm also sure many would agree w/my statement. Do you get hearing loss compensation and know exactly how it's figured? I know many who do and I know what they get every month. I also know the makes models and features of each of the 3 models they dispense. Good stuff. As I said earlier hit the books and know what you're talking about like I have. Look at the regs before you just sign here and smile walking out. Then you'll see a bigger picture of how it all works and things you may have missed out on. Do you know IF I've applied to the VA? Do you know IF I'm receiving compensation? You actually have NO idea what I did for 22 years aside from 10 years in the Artillery. Perhaps I changed MOS and know medical regs inside and out? I suggest going back and reading exactly what I've said in this thread. Trust me I DO get it. More than you'll ever know. Thanks for the heads up though.
  20. Thanks for that @Randyh. I hope things work well for you and your family. I'd hate to even think about that. Would be terrible to deal with for me. So very sorry . To clarify MY point a bit more. There was never hearing protection provided for members of the military. Today of course. Years ago no. When you were pumpin em out as fast as you could to save lives how much of your hearing did you sacrifice? You hear an "Expend ALL Ammo" it's ALL goin down range cause it's ON. Ok, we all know that. IF I owned the VA I'd buy a million hearing aids and hang em on every person who whined to the VA and in some cases give em some beer money every month. They'd be happy right? Case closed and can't be reopened. Right @jimjimbo?
  21. You're so far ahead of me it's just amazing. Nothing you can help me with and I can't really help you with anything now since you're, as usual, so far ahead of me. I'm good but thanks anyway.
  22. Speaking late nite food pics... Got a chunk of salmon in! ha! Thanks for that Steve!
  23. @oldtimer can bring the heat!
