Welcome! I’ve had some kg4 and rather enjoyed them. You’ll have to work with placement due to the rear passive. As for amplifiers it’s hard to say “any”, but any “good” 2 channel amp 60 watts or better. Think Denon or Yamaha. I prefer vintage offerings. Enjoy!

Mine need some TLC already. Probably will go the patina route since my trim is pretty beat. Although a ”silver” horn would probably look pretty good in them. IMO.

Maybe. I think @MookieStl is probably correct that the mix in the alloy is the factor. Magnesium has more porosity and would change the characteristics of the aluminum.
