  1. I have owned the SE34I.3 back when they had the white top plate. I also had a mini torii at one time as well. I prefer the 2 watt amps. I have a couple of them. Decware and Klipsch work well together.
  2. This would not be a fair comparison IMO. The Fifteens will have a built in amp and dac if their press release from CES is accurate. I am not ready for a wireless speaker in my 2 channel system.
  3. Which midrange horn do you prefer? This and the other attributes are so close that I think it comes down to personal preference. Maybe there is a dealer close by that will let you hear both in your room. Barring that, I would choose the Forte III because I am original owner of the Forte II. A Cornwall owner could justify the Cornwall III just as easily...
  4. Forte III Special Edition Matte Black manual says 2" - 10" from rear wall...
  5. Decware Mini Torii amplifier
  6. I use Decware amps, and I like them. They come with lifetime warranty, and there is plenty of comments on the different offerings on their forum. I am a long time Klipsch user, and I do not want to sound like a Decware cheerleader. I believe the above to be pretty much on point for the SE84 based amp. There are other amps in their line up as well.
  7. What is the "0 warning points" message below my post count? Thanks
  8. This is just a test post just to see if I can. Thanks
  9. I have an SE84C+, and it works really well with the Forte II in my opinion. I am now using it with some desktop speakers. My Forte II's are back in the closet for now. http://flic.kr/ps/22dk8Q
  10. I do not have the Custom 3's. I have the Image X10's, and I did not like the supplied ear buds for extended periods. They made my ears hurt. I finally found an ear tip that is very comfortable. I use foam tips model T100 from the ear plug store. They work great. I am not looking back.
  11. I have one, and I like it. If you have doubts, you could start with the stock version and return in 30 days if you do not like it. I do not think you will be disappointed.
  12. All of that sounds good...I think you will always have some people that are not happy with your product not matter what you do. IMO, this is just the way it is. You get the pleasure of having to deal with such questions because of an 800 customer service number and/or an open forum. Some will not like that products are made in the US, China, or some other country.
  13. I have no experience with them, but I did remember reading a review at 6moons.com. Try http://www.audiosector.com/
  14. I use a PS Audio Digital Link III DAC, and it upsamples. It retails for $999. It sounds better than the analogue output of my old Toshiba DVD/Tivo unit. I have not compared it to other DACs.
  15. Bedroom system - NAD 314 integrated amp and Toshiba Tivo/DVD player
  16. from top to bottom - PS Audio Premier power plant, NAD C525BEE cdp, PS Audio Digital Link III DAC, & PS Audio GCC-100 Control Amp
  17. Good choice - I like the ss amp and tube preamp combo as well.
  18. I have used a Rotel RB980BX with JMA Merlin and Forte II with good results.
  19. Another option would be a Decware Zen Plate Model ZSP1 from www.decware.com
  20. You could also try www.craigslist.org for your local area or areas within driving distance. Keep an eye out on the forum. Someone may offer some for sell.
