  1. Maybe you should switch back to the Sansui's Peace, Josh
  2. Those poor giraffes should visit me in florida. Peace, Josh
  3. Hmm, I haven't been spending so much time around the forum lately. But this is just like old times Peace, Josh
  4. Cool, I had my four heresy's like that for awhile. Certainly a lot of impact that way. Peace, Josh
  5. I love me some B.B. King, Good song. And yes it would be slow for dialup users but not for me Peace, Josh
  6. Django Reinhardt is missing! The list is obviously a piece of junk. Leo Kottke should be higher up imo. I've seen him twice and he put on a great show both times. Doc Watson is at #73 C'mon, He should be higher up than that. Peace, Josh
  7. A few of the theaters in my area sell beer at the concession stands. It's pretty nice to be able to sit back with a cold one while watching a new movie. Peace, Josh
  8. H&K makes machine guns. H/K makes audio equipment. I like the sound of my 430. The 430 has a warm pleasing sound for such a low price. I do however think that the bass frequencies tend to be slightly over exaggerated even when the tone controls are set flat. There is a page where you can download many of the H/K manuals here Peace, josh

Is this the vette you are talking about? With that much money into your car you had better have some nice time slips. Good to see you are doing ok. Peace, Josh

  11. Speaking of HF-81's, I still do not have a tube amp in my system, so if anyone would be willing to donate one I would be most appreciative. For the time being my heresy's are going to have to make do being powered by low end Yamaha solid state. Peace, Josh
  12. Happy birthday my fellow Heresy/ HK-430 owner. I wish you many happy returns of the day. Peace, Josh
  13. What is there to see? More computer speakers for the battlefield 1942 crowd? Those aren't even real pictures, just a bunch of pre-vis 3D stuff. They may be bigger and better than the other computer speakers out there but they are still not going to sound as good as real speakers hooked up to your computer. Peace, Josh
  14. I agree with the evil Ear on this one. There has not been a single program that I have run on the dual 1.4Ghz G4 macs at school that seems to run faster than on my dual 1.4Ghz AMD pc. If anything the mac seems rather sluggish. Peace, Josh
  15. I'll take you both on with my Adobe Illustrator pen tool Jedi skills. Us pen tool jedi's gotta keep the peace you know. Peace, Josh.
  16. Happy Birthday Wabbit. Many happy reruns of the day. Peace, Josh
  17. http://www.rcaf.com/aircraft/type_fighter.htm It looks like more than five to me. Peace, Josh
  18. It might depend on the receiver you are planning on getting. The Yamaha htr-5540 which I also happen to have does this just fine. You just have to go into the speaker setup and set the center to none. Peace, Josh

They have them set up for display at Take5 in New Haven. To get them to open up, you need a lot of good quality power. Take5 drives them with Levinson 33H amps, which produce roughly a bazillion watts into practically any load. ---------------- 1200 watts @ 1ohm And they weigh 220 pounds. My goodness. Peace, Josh
  20. I still miss the little k. Peace, Josh
  21. I doubt that the scratches on the dust cover will make ANY difference sonicly. The back corners on my heresy's are just kinda dented in, as if somebody dropped them on the floor. Those handles are a great idea, I wish I had thought of that. It would sure make things easier whe I rearrange my living room every week Peace, Josh
  22. Just curious, How much does that 30th anniversary edition sell for? I saw it at a small record store and I think it was about $50 Then I saw it again at the Virgin megastore at downtown disney in orlando and it was $18. Peace, Josh
  23. I think those are absolutely beautiful speakers. I would go crazy to have a pair of those sitting in my living room. If of course they sounded good. Peace, Josh
