That's what I did, I had 4 Forte ll's and found a pair of original forte's, cheap $300. I used three F ll's across the front and for center rear, and the original Forte's for rear L+R for 6.1 . I would have went 5.1 but then I would have had to store one speaker somewhere anyway, so 6.1.

That would sound good OB, 5 Heresy's and a sub, would sound as good as setups costing thousands more, and not that hard to do considering their size.

What would sound very good in a van if you have a sub would be the quintets $300 for 5 of them on ebay. My son-in-law has them in his bedroom and they sound great. Also they would be easy to mount because they have those little feet. Don't go by how they look, they sound 10 times bigger, if you can go listen to a pair of the newer models they sound very close to the older ones.

You could try the Pro Logic ll for music, many of the others will change the sound alot. Sounds like you may need to go thru the menu and change some settings, also on the DVD player. Are all the speakers matched so the volume is even all around like with a db meter ? I would think your timbre match is good if they are all in the rb, rc, rs series. There is also on some receivers what they call center width, it lets you adjust how the center channel signal is sent across the 3 front speakers, making the front seem wider and including a little of the voices to the front left and right speakers. The center width can help make the front 3 blend in a little more, but it does sound funny if you make it to wide, try it out.

Yep very nice room, well planned out ! That's alot of hurricane straps to install, but I know they really help especially with inspectors . From the way it looks it should sound good , and WAF approved, smart. I can picture it now, your wife out lying by the pool with a drink and your desk with a window looking out that way, your not going to get any work done like that !

All of that sounds like alot of work ! For the best room treatments just use the one wife with 3 girlfriends, even 1 or 2 girlfriends is also an improvement to a room ! Or in your case just add 1 or 2 additional girlfriends to improve any room ! I think you will like and notice a huge difference !

It's a 2 way and it was designed in a Klipsch facility, but by mostly just two engineers, Roy and PWK and I would guess they did use some new technology along the way ?

The ginormously loud and goes boom boom was funny though I have to admit, but as far from the truth as could be, finesse is really a better description, but not by looks, they look like your description if you go just on how they look !

" I don't think this would be a problem, they are designed and marketed for people who are looking for two different things, you would not buy a Jubilee if you were particular about your speakers fitting in with you decor.[]

What is more important looks or sound ? For the price you could get Jubilee's with a kpt 884 sub with an active setup with amps,......or the P39's ! One is big and takes up more space and will shake your house and the other is tall and slim and really nice looking ( we are talking about speakers ) don't get sidetracked with that last description. Is there any way you could try to go hear both, with the cost of either it would be the nice to hear them first. I have only heard one of them, but I have seen both, not a fair way to judge. I can only judge it to all the Heritage and ref, and other speakers I have heard. Ask the people who has heard them if you can't, if all you have to go on is opinion it would have to be from people who has listened to both. If you went by just specs the jub,884 would win, just by looks p39. I don't know there answer but Roy, Trey and Maby Coulter has heard them both, tell them what you are looking for and expect and see what they say ? Ask bhendrix what he thinks of the kpt884. If someone has not heard either how can they even begin to give an opinion ? looks alone ? To use the sports car or monster truck comparison you would have to be going on looks alone, is that how you would judge speaker ?

From reading just the cover sheet it looks like it will be very interesting, the way music effects us is way more than we realize. Let us know what you think, it looks good.

It would have been really nice if the k-horn Jub's could have been finished up in time to be the 60TH edition as planed ! But it is well worth the wait to get that kind of sound however long it takes !
