Sky Hits
Some amazing playing here. In addition to his always elegant piano playing, Mr. Garner hits the harpiscord for a few strange and beautiful songs.

psg
Norah Jones Live in New Orleans DVD 1.33:1 aspect artio, so that sucks. But it's a wonderful live recording with a raw edge to it. The drum has some good punch to it. Imaging is great, which is uncommon on DVDs for me. Wished they remastered a blu ray out of it!

pauln
Cheek to Cheek (I'm in Heaven), the Irving Berlin tune from the 30's ... I'm playing it on my guitar. I have been working it up for a few days and finally got curious what the name was, a little internet searching got it identified. I've worked out a nice jazzy bebop version I'll play next week at the club if I can catch a certain female singer by then.

Richard Guba
Gerry Mulligan Live at the Village Vangard on 1960 Verve Vinyl. A few pops and clicks, but nice. I think the best Concert Jazz Band LP is '63 which has a beautiful version of the tune "Ballad". The live albulm is still good.
