Why don't you go to an islam nation, live there and be part of their culture and see what you think. You sit at the bottom of a well and as you see the vast skies through the narrow opening of the well and thought that you see everything. We enjoy too much freedom in America and we don't ever leave this place. What do you expect us to say and think from what the media tell us?

The ecclesiastical mendacity of
christianity is a threat to humanity. Humans are a threat to humanity.
In the large scheme of things, humanity will end, at some point. Islam
is no more likely to be the culprit than any other religion.

Tell me something, do the christians tell their peple to crash 2 planes into the World Trade Center towers?

Do they blow themselves up and take hundred of lives with them as they continue their suicide missions to these days?

And don't tell me there are only a few of the radical ones...they are muslims and they don't care!

No christians never do anything bad................ it's all those other religions.

It is this form of mentality which wars are often started from. WAR = We Are Right

Read Cat Stevens own words about 9-11

"I wish to express my heartfelt horror at the indiscriminate
terrorist attacks committed against innocent people of the United States
yesterday. While it is still not clear who carried out the attack, it
must be stated that no right-thinking follower of Islam could possibly
condone such an action. The Qur'an equates the murder of one innocent
person with the murder of the whole of humanity. We pray for the
families of all those who lost their lives in this unthinkable act of
violence as well as all those injured; I hope to reflect the feelings of
all Muslims and people around the world whose sympathies go out to the
victims of this sorrowful moment."

And you believe that from reading somewhere without verifying it?

Read Cat Stevens own words about 9-11

I know this was his public statement made the day after 9-11.

You are the one who is believing there is evil where there is none.

Yes, you sit comfortably in your chair in front of your TV/Computer/Newspapers and readily believe what the media tell you.

I often throw this one in my trucks CD player.........

Like many of his peers, Cat Stevens made records that were identified
by strong, memorable hit singles, but make no mistake: he made albums
that were cohesive works onto themselves. For that reason, the very
idea of a Cat Stevens greatest-hits ... Full Descriptioncollection
may be troublesome to some fans, since they will only notice the
missing album tracks, but Greatest Hits does its job exceptionally
well. With the exception of "The Hurt," all of his hits from the early
'70s -- "Wild World," "Moon Shadow," "Peace Train," "Morning Has
Broken," "Sitting," "Oh Very Young," "Another Saturday Night," "Ready,"
and "Two Fine People" -- are here, along with three other fine album
tracks. In short, it is everything that casual fans need -- and even
fans that find a favorite or two missing will be hard-pressed to deny
that this is a solid introduction and a great listen. ~ Stephen Thomas

A nice one of you're looking for the "Hits"!

I have traveled abroad; I have studied; I served this country in the military. I don't view life, religion, or what our government purports, through a "narrow opening." You are making a statement presupposing a number of things about me, and implying limitations, either intrinsic or, "media" created, in my ability, as well as in the ability of others, to discern and make logical conclusions. It seems you are making an ad hominem attack without supporting your position with examples.

I would like to go to an Islamic nation someday, just as I would like to visit Israel. However, I am quite happy to continue living in my country, where I can freely listen to CAT STEVENS.

I am presently watching and listening to Rachael Madow Ph.D (Rhodes Scholar) on the TV. My chair is quite comfortable and I am listening to CAT STEVENS, in the background.

And do you know Cat Stevens personally to know what he did or didn't do or are YOU getting your information about him and the things that people have said that HE said from that same media?
