oldtimer
Yes it's that time of year. Vancouver Canucks v. Boston Bruins. I called the finals correctly (after the first round), now I'm sticking with my guns for Vancouver. Any predictions?

BigCliff
I will be pulling for the Bruins. One of the Original 6 and the Canucks knocked out my Blackhawks.
SteelerFan
Since the Bruins knocked out the Lightning I have to pull Vancouver.
oldtimer
I usually go for the team that put mine out, under the idea that it legitimizes the loss. Whatever the case, first game tonight! Picky, are you watching or do you quit after the red wings?
picky
Nope: Hockey is hockey. I've been watching all the way through. I wanted Stevie Y's Team, Tampa Bay to beat Boston and play the Canucks, but oh, well. I think Vancouver will win the cup, but I am rooting for "Da Bruins" in hopes of keeping the cup on "our side of the ice". -Glenn
Wrinkles
Wife's family from Boston...so Bruins But, what a 1st game on the ice the other night!
oldtimer
Two awesome games so far, both of which could have gone either way. Picky, don't you want the cup to stay where it belongs, in the western conference?

Picky, don't you want the cup to stay where it belongs, in the western conference? I hold more allegance for my country than I do for a hockey conference: I love Canada too but, God Bless America! oldtimer
Good enough picky---of course the teams are all a blend of many nationalities. Man what a blow-out that last one was, and as usual for a blow-out it got pretty ugly.
oldtimer
Two different cities. Two completely different styles of games. Now it's down to game seven in Vancouver, winner take all.
BigCliff
What a first period for the Bruins! Now they just have to figure out how to score in Vancouver.

BigCliff
Good series and what a job Thomas did in goal for the Bruins. But what's up with the people in Vancouver???? Really surprised by that.
oldtimer
Congratulations to the bruins! They took control and never let up. Vancouver's winless streak continues. Cliff I am also surprised at the rioting, police are blaming a core group of trouble makers who were there to create havoc and not so much for the game. The same thing happened in 1994. It does tarnish the reputation and self image of the city.

Yes I'm sure they were a small minority of the people there last night, but they have done more damage to our city and reputation than could be imagined. Again, well done Bruins, you were the better team.[][:$]
