JL Sargent
Yeah Don, you've got the right idea. I really prefer to see football games on TV anyway, but for the Super Bowl I would make an exception. []
JL Sargent
Just saw this on ESPN. Hate to see it. What the heck is Antler Spray anyway?
Boxx
Just saw this on ESPN. Hate to see it. What the heck is Antler Spray anyway? It is a laxative by-product used in college station.... There has been a large movement, among aggies, over the past 6 months regarding this product.
odysseyrevolver
Apparently the reason Lewis hid/destroyed/burned/whatever his suit ten years ago was because he spilled Deer Antler Extract all over it.

odysseyrevolver
From the looks of that BCS Championship game ND should be ordering up a batch~! They were taking it all season before their supplier, Lennay Kekua, suddenly disppeared!
Moderators dtel Posted January 31, 2013 Moderators Share Posted January 31, 2013 Well you shouldn't miss anything with 120 cameras. [] "CBS Sports has a network of about 120 cameras in the Superdome, Jackson Square and around the city to use during what could very well be a record-breaking broadcast. The network will be using its 4k technology to zoom in on controversial plays. “So you see he has possession. We're showing that. We're going in even tighter to show that he's actually in bounds,” said Joel Hahn, a production team member. The resolution is four times greater than high definition video." http://www.wwltv.com/news/local/behandthescenesatcbscompound-189101291.html
JJkizak
I guess I'll run out and buy a 4k TV. Wonder how much they cost? JJK
jhoak
I guess I'll run out and buy a 4k TV. Wonder how much they cost? You can get a 84" LG 4K TV for the paltry sum of $16,998.00 + shipping.
Moderators dtel Posted January 31, 2013 Moderators Share Posted January 31, 2013 I guess I'll run out and buy a 4k TV. Wonder how much they cost? JJK Probably about the cost of spending a few days in NO and going to the game and parties after + transportation. [] I am sure prices are jacked up to NFL standards, but everyone knows the NFL barely breaks even. [:|]
JL Sargent
120 Cameras? That is pretty amazing.

Moderators dtel Posted January 31, 2013 Moderators Share Posted January 31, 2013 120 Cameras? That is pretty amazing. Probably not a good weekend to go get crazy in the French Quarter, it might be on TV. [:$] We were thinking about going down there to see the NFL stuff and walk around, until we read all the streets that were going to be closed. We usually park right on the river at the edge of the Quarter, but not this week for sure, I think we would have to park miles away.
JL Sargent
I've been watching some of ESPNs coverage of New Orleans this week. They have a nice setup down there. I've been wondering though exactly where that is. I know I have seen those store fronts but just can't quite place them.
Moderators dtel Posted January 31, 2013 Moderators Share Posted January 31, 2013 I only watched a few min the other night, it was late and the stage was set up in Jackson square in front of St Lewis cathedral, the oldest cathedral in the US. Probably not the only stage ?
JL Sargent
This one has a backdrop of store/restaurant fronts. "fine dining" is one of the neon signs in the background.

skonopa
Uh-oh - not looking good for the 'Niners at the half. We'll see how this second half, but I honostly think Baltimore is going to take this (as I figure they would even before the game started).
