I can not figure out how to remove the freezer back panel to access the defrost sensor to troubleshoot.Closest shop 2 hours away in San Antonio. Thaddeus Smith Posted April 17, 2015 Author Share Posted April 17, 2015 mine is 3 yrs ols. i had the water inlet tube crack at a spot that's not user replaceable last summer. it's a hard plastic and low pressure, so i just scuffed it up and applied a 5 minute epoxy. no problems since. joys of homeownership, and they days of having an appliance just truck along with no issues for 20 years are long gone. It's not the part, it's the couple hundred gallons of water that ends up on your floor when it breaks and you're not home that gets you.
