minermark
Ok here we go gang, just got these two last sat for the wife, and im looking for any/everyone's input on how to bring these critters into the 21st century audio world. here is their condition: Im the second owner since new, these were some of the last Khorns made and they are in perfect condition. Inside the monster wire shows it's wonderfull green stripe of salt air attacking them over the years so these WILL be totally rewired, Crossover ideas and anything else you can think of would be great, I really only want to throw the money at these one time for a few years of listing before the next upgrade.

Max2
I just did the same thing to a pair. It also had the old 10 gauge greenish oxidized monster cable and the AK networks. I have ran them with two different Klipsch style networks and Deans Super X network, previously known as the Super AA. I also bypassed the fuses and bottom caps. What year model are these Minermark?

iRONic
How long have they been made to current specs? Huh?! If a pair of Khorns shipped out of Hope yesterday the specs would be current as of... . . . . wait for it... . . . . yesterday!
minermark
The store the guy bought them from was the last one on the west coast to have them, after they quit making them.

mungkiman
What do you mean by "some of the last Khorns made"? Last of the 80s run. Got it. I've seen wire in much worse shape regarding oxidation. Hard to believe they don't sound even decent.
