Mallette
Friend of mine provided this link. Pretty extraordinary rendition and the quality is quite good. http://www.superstarmagazine.com/watch-the-hauntingly-beautiful-cover-of-simon-garfunkels-the-sound-of-silence-by-disturbed/ Dave

DizRotus
Dave thank you. Normally I would ignore a recommendation to listen to a metal band, but from you, I'll try it. Edward Kennedy Ellington was right.

Mallette
Dave thank you. Normally I would ignore a recommendation to listen to a metal band, but from you, I'll try it. Edward Kennedy Ellington was right. Same here, Neil. This link came from John Tennison, who wrote and performed the boogie woogie piece from my upcoming radio show that I posted here. Otherwise, I probably would not have paid attention. Dave

Ski Bum
Dave, you probably posted it somewhere already, but are you planning to stream your show? I would love to tune in.

Mallette
Not getting any comments on the Swampoodle Player thread. That will be our theme music, along with real Texas and Pacific 316 steam locomotive sounds synchronized. My boogie woogie guy has established that it was those sounds from the yards in Texarkana near the Swampoodle districts that were responsible for that bass line it starts with. I've heard them synchronized and believe it. Perfect match. Dave Edited January 11, 2016 by Mallette
teaman
I was pretty impressed. I like them to start with but they seem to do well with covers. I liked the way they covered Phil Collins Land of Confusion as well.
