babadono
RIP Sir George. I saw a PBS documentary on his work with the Fab Four, amazing. Mixing on a 4 or 8 channel mixer, Jeesh!
Mighty Favog
I thought the 5th Beatle was Billie Preston.

WMcD
NPR had a piece on him this morning. The outro music was the last cut on Abbey Road, which of course, is "The End." The last cut on the last Beatles album. A heart warming choice actually. Loved it. OT: NPR does a good job on this sort of thing. On their quiz show "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me" there was a question: "What can Nicole Kidman wear now that she and Tom Cruise are divorced?" Answer: High heels. Because Tom (that Yo-Yo IMHO) is shorter than she is. The outro music was "Stand by Your Man." I died. But back to Sir George. An astounding work by him and his son not mentioned much is the mashup https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Love_(Beatles_album) Highly recommended. He really understood how the many Beatles songs work together. WMcD Edited March 10, 2016 by WMcD
