Which is nice. Is it the Heat-Lock stuff?

Scrappydue
well just ordered the veneer for the rest of the build. still gluing up the towers. one is about 80% done. needs the front baffle routed out with the baffle supplied. then it will be glued on. these towers are gonna be big. I'm excited. these will be 48.75" tall including the plinth, 16" deep not including the plinth (18" with plinth) and 10.25" wide without plinth (12.25" with)

derrickdj1
Those are going to be some big towers. The cabinet is extensively braced and will be a nice enclosure. Keep pushin' man!

Pete H
Now your T.V. is too small for that big center. Nice work. I really haven't done any veneering so keep inspiring me with pics and I'll have to get rolling on the next project.

homeskizzle
Is that the stock size for the 893s or are you making towers out of them? Either way - looking forward to your listening impressions! The center turned out great.
Grizzog
Looks almost the same size as the RF-7II. Definitely a good size for appropriate towers! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The center turned out great. center is the "stock size" however these woofer are very versatile. I chose a fairly low tune. They can be tuned to 30 but cabinet would have had to be bigger which I didn't want.
miketyler
I have done some veneer work on my antique jukebox restorations. I have used the substrate-backed veneer but have also used raw burl veneer for trim. Very delicate to work with and used the 3M contact cement rolled on. I look forward to doing a custom subwoofer someday.
