Vinyl - Record Spinning

Full Range

Recommended Posts

Good evening my vinyl spinning friends!   Starting my vinyl portion of my Sunday evening over in RTM with this classic from Alan Parsons...

'I Robot'  .....    Here is the front cover art....DSCN8347.jpg

I held onto some of the ORIGINAL shrink wrap which had some of these interesting stickers.....   Here is one of them...DSCN8348.jpg

Nice one @Full Range

I've seen that one in a rack, wish I would have picked it up now. But I'm sure it's not as much as "Thick as a Brick" is anywhere on dry land.

I went through Animals, The Wall, Wish You Were Here, Dark Side of the Moon, that Gilmour and my I Robot (too bad he didn't copyright the "I" prefix back then) My cassette with their old live stuff I had is awol.

If you'd indulge me another minute.^_^ I picked this up `cause my DSOTM lp got some pops on it after a decade or two. It was in the tall package like their $300 leftovers are now. My cd transport connected by coax to the mid-range Cambridge dual dacs running balanced XLRs to the amp then to the new speakers could almost be a religious experience with this remarkable disc.

Brilliant recording @JohnJ

I should look out for a master LP myself just to see / hear the difference between the normal LP

Don't do it!!

There is a difference, on a inferior setup it will sound good. Better rig than that... more bass maybe. With what you have, you'll find their webstore see all of those that are out of print, spend all of your spare money on them... I'm talking about their LPs, the cds are amazing compared to a normal one. This was my first MFSL record, got a half dozen of their products now.

Recently received in the mail @dirtmudd

The second album released by Genesis

After a couple of spins I have to say that it’s a very good but raw full of feeling album / later albums have more finess but you can see from this album how they evolved

Artist - Genesis

Title - Trespass

First Pressing - CAS 1020
