oldred
This really looks like it's going to be a fun topic. I really like being back into vinyl. I really haven't had this much passion / fun with music in a long time. I was for along time only interested in home theater. To be honest I really started to get back into music / analog after a get together with guys on this forum. I actually went to get a feel for Dolby Atmos. I tried at first to rig everything through my home theater processor....I hated the way it sounded...decided to pursue and buy Yamaha amp/preamp. I went out and bought the same turntable I had when I was 18. Maybe it's an interaction thing for me . Don't get me wrong I could just pop a cd into the Oppo and listen. But for me taking the record out of the sleeve/putting it on the platter doing a quick discwasher cleaning...making sure the volume on the preamp is down ...then slowly bringing it up. just seems to fit ...for me that is . Guys ....sorry I do not have anything to contribute ...spinning wise that is..... but I hopped on a plane to visit my mother....just thought I'd check in. Didn't mean to ramble on, George,
