Yes it certainly does, made me feel proud.

I never knew my uncle was a WWll hero till the day of his funeral. All I knew is that he was in the Army. I saw him in the casket, all decked out with medals everywhere, 82nd Airborne.

I said to his wife..."I didn't know Pete was such a war hero"..she said...."oh he wasn't, he just volunteered for those dangerous jumps because they paid extra"...then I thought, that's exactly what he would've told me.
