How much are my 1987 Cornwall I's worth

Pretty good shape, standard C-WO, original stock crossovers.  What is a fair asking price on a pair?

Condition, location, pictures all factor in to the price. And how bad do you want to get rid of them?

Oops, got confused with my old Heresy II's.  These are 1983.

You can buy LaScala’s for less.

This I know.   In my area LA scalas rarely come up for sale. They usually list at 2k+.  CA doesn't follow the typical prices seen on this forum.

Used to be you could pick up a local trader or free shopper around military posts in the weeks before extended deployments and find all sorts of deals on Klipsch speakers and stereo equipment. But now, resellers have wised up and using search tempest and other classified ad aggregators, they scarf up the best deals before the ink is dry. I never purchased Klipsch gear that way (I remember seeing it listed) but did get a decent amp and tuner a few years ago for a song from a deploying Fort Campbell soldier. I keep checking and prices for that gear keep rising - maybe there s more competition now that the ad's reach is broader.

I bought a mint pair of CWIIs a few years ago for 600.00. Sold em a couple of months later for 800.00.

I'd kill to find them for even 800. Unbelievable.

How are these not worth $1400 as described ? They need this and they need that. No, they don’t. The price bashing on this forum is questionable. Rant over.

I didn’t exactly screw up. I sold them because I bought cornscalas, which are long gone too.

I wasn’t price bashing, I think they were with the $$. Kind of a moot point since this thread is going on two years old.
