jlmoore3rd
I picked up a pair of KP-301 IIA's, and am putting in new caps from Crites... One of the input cups/panels has been rather badly repaired, so I'm in search of a new cup. Thought I'd share this...

Edgar
Red is positive and black is negative ... and the bigger the blob, the better the job. 2
Edgar
I've had soldering jobs go bad on me -- solder won't flow, or won't stick to wires; tight quarters where I couldn't get a good angle with the iron, etc.. But usually when I see things going that direction I stop, take a break, then come back and tear it all out to start over again.

babadono
But seriously @jlmoore3rd we're just having a laugh at your expense. I apologize for this. We should not confuse any new members. 99.99999% of us here think wire length is of no consequense at audio frequencies. Unless your talking 100's of feet of speaker cable. Welcome to the Klipsch Forum.

jlmoore3rd
Thanks for da edjamaction... I'd fall into the category of "Wine length? I thought it was by the barrel... Never mind!" (Insert Emily Litella snort here).
wuzzzer
Wow. The second thing I ever soldered was new caps in my Heresys and they look like a pro did it compared to that.
