HDBRbuilder
I guess that my intellect is no match for Finster's and Forrest's, since I must be such a stupid individual, as they believe anybody with an opinion that differs from theirs HAS TO BE. But, let's see just how many times EITHER of them has done much on this forum besides deride others...hmmm...why is that? At least I don't feel a need to continually use their degrading tactics to try to get my point across. Nuff said! How about we all just agree that those who are so gung ho on spilling blood be the first wave in our invasion? I think that is the best plan. I have some recruiting friends who will aid them in this endeavor. Geronimo2 out!

Given Finster's posts, I realize that you may have been refering to their content in general, but I got the feeling you were making that point specifically. Regarding your comment on our U.S. vs the world mentality: During my travels, I've encountered a lot of everyone vs the US type thinking as well as many very open minded people, too. sj993
James, I was just reffering to him not everyone in general but I meant no disrespect or anything despite what it may have sounded like. I just have heard many people say "go back to your own country" and it rather irritates me when people say that as the people who have told me that have never been outside of the U.S. I found that Finster has traveled so he does have knowledge of other cultures. IMO opinion if you haven't been outside your own country then your only forms of input are somewhat one-sided as your sources are the news and things other citizens tell you as opposed to traveling and forming your opinion of the world. Yes, I do find that some other nationalities also have an us against the U.S. attitude as well which I also don't agree with.

BBB
One of AMERICAS GREATEST HITS ! On the first part of the journey I was looking at all the life There were plants and birds and rocks and things There was sand and hills and rings The first thing I met was a fly with a buzz And the sky with no clouds The heat was hot and the ground was dry But the air was full of sound I've been through the desert on a horse with no name It felt good to be out of the rain In the desert you can remember your name 'Cause there ain't no one for to give you no pain La, la ... After two days in the desert sun My skin began to turn red After three days in the desert fun I was looking at a river bed And the story it told of a river that flowed Made me sad to think it was dead You see I've been through the desert on a horse with no name It felt good to be out of the rain In the desert you can remember your name 'Cause there ain't no one for to give you no pain La, la ... After nine days I let the horse run free 'Cause the desert had turned to sea There were plants and birds and rocks and things there was sand and hills and rings The ocean is a desert with it's life underground And a perfect disguise above Under the cities lies a heart made of ground But the humans will give no love You see I've been through the desert on a horse with no name It felt good to be out of the rain In the desert you can remember your name 'Cause there ain't no one for to give you no pain La, la ... Think about it but I dont need any flack because Oz never did give nothing to the Tin Man That he didnt, didnt already have Let us also not forget what event changed the lives of millions of Americans on this date 61 years ago.Have a good peaceful evening everyone. cybergeek
How about Oh Canada?, since that is sure to be the future terrorist launching pad. Socialist Liberal crap runs both directions in Canada. No wonder those on here always seem to take the Liberal side. "The Washington Times reported last week that anti-terror agencies are concerned about the presence of Hezbollah in Canada. America's northern neighbor, they believe, is a "stronghold" for the Islamic terrorist group that is responsible for more than 300 American deaths, including the 1983 attack on the Marine barracks in Beirut. Unbelievably, Hezbollah is not banned in Canada. The Liberal government of Prime Minister Jean Chretien refuses to proscribe this murderous organization because it does social work among Lebanon's poor and has representatives in that country's legislative assembly. As a result of this disgraceful piece of Liberal generosity, Hezbollah has been able to use Canadian territory for ten years to recruit, launder money, raise funds, forge documents and purchase military-related equipment for use in attacks on Israel." prodj101
hey cyber geek, go pop some pimples on that big forhead and relieve some pressure on your brain. That way maybe you'll get the idea that war isn't the answer to everything. That or find another place to put down others. I would hate to see all that pent up rage from being infront of a computer all your life and never having outside contact be vented at my friend sj. sj993
cyber, I take it you were indirectly reffering to me which is fine. I took no offense to what you said and I do agree that there are terrorists in Canada and the U.S. and Europe, etc... Personally as a Canadian I do believe the Canadian gov't is a bit lax in their immigration policies, however it is not as lax as it used to be because of recent events. Being that the population is rather small relative to the land mass of the country we welcome immigrants easier than the U.S. As a result it is easier for terrorists to come to Canada and possibly enter the U.S., etc. However that wasn't my intent in my posts, I was simply stating that Canada isn't a target of terrorism like the U.S. is even if there are terrorists inside it's own borders. prodj101
In Tae Kwon Do, or any other martial arts class, the first thing they say to you is "choose your fights, know when to stay and fight, and when to walk away". Now is not a time to stay. We should pack our bags and get the hell out of there before they execute all of those inspectors. We have no business in there at all. RangerSix
bkrop: yep, Chamberlain made that comment. Actually, there is more to it than that. Here's the whole statement. "My good friends, for the second time in our history, a British Prime Minister has returned from Germany bringing peace with honor. I believe it is peace for our time... Go home and get a nice quiet sleep." prodj101: "We have no business in there at all." Let's try to discuss this intelligently. Why do you feel that way? prodj101
incase you have noticed, I have said why I feel that way on many seperate occasions. I don't feel like repeating myself for a illiterate like yourself (you obviously are if you haven't read why I feel the way I do previously). Go back and take the time to read.
