Nice lil look at the big picture tonight from a friend.  :)

Well, for the first time in the 10 years of the College Football Playoff system, the selection committee has a real problem on their hands -- and faces a huge controversy Sunday no matter which way it goes when the final rankings are released at noon on ESPN.
The top three teams will almost certainly be: 1 Michigan (13-0). 2. Washington (13-0). 3. Texas (12-1).
When it comes to No. 4, now that’s where it gets sticky. Will the committee take the most-deserving team in 13-0 Florida State, which won the ACC championship with a sloppy 16-6 win over Louisville? The Seminoles are without superstar quarterback Jordan Travis, who injured his knee three weeks ago, and are clearly not one of the “four best” teams in the country right now, especially on offense.
But bear in mind, no Power-Five conference champion which finished undefeated has ever been left out of the playoff.
Or will the committee decide to take SEC champ Alabama (12-1), which upset No. 1 Georgia 27-24? Remember, no SEC champ has ever been excluded from the playoff, either, and the Crimson Tide surely could be considered one of the four best teams right now. Alabama’s only loss was in the third game of the season to Texas in Tuscaloosa.
As the No. 1 seed, Michigan surely would rather see the struggling Seminoles’ offense which will play with a backup quarterback in a semifinal game -- rather than powerful Alabama and elusive quarterback Jalen Milroe.
One more item: The Bulldogs' loss also likely will knock Ohio State out of the Orange Bowl, a slot which Georgia now would fill should it finish ranked above the Buckeyes as expected. No matter which way the committee goes at No 4 and 5, Georgia likely will be ranked No. 6 and Ohio State No. 7.

Seems they got the 4 best teams? What if we could of had a Florida State vs Alabama game this Saturday to settle things? What would the final score be on that one? 45-0 Alabama maybe? By game time New Years Day the line on Michigan vs Alabama will be even money I suspect. That's gonna be a hell of a game right there.

The cheetah's might have a book on ya already.  3 years puttin it together ya know.  Players change but normally the plays remain the same pretty much every year.   :)

Why didn't they have it early in the season?  Oh wait, Texas beat Bama the second game of the season.  Time for Nick to go to work then I guess.  Oh snap!  Bama is 12-1 and Texas is 12-1 and they're in the final 4?  Yet Florida State is 13-0 and ranked 5 because they lost their super star QB due to a leg injury?  Ok, I get that but what I don't get is

Will they go to a 12 team playoff next year?

That's the word so far.

Lots of talk about lots of different things coming up.  That's just one of them.  Something will have to be done w/the addition of teams into the B1G and other conferences.

When I mentioned the other day that as of Thursday there were 60 QB's hitting the portal was true.  It's honestly getting crazy and it's all boiling down to the money.

They ALL want part of the cash cow.  Those kids are driving Porsches in college as a result of the money they're being paid.  It's ALL about the money but will the country support their favorite football teams?  That remains to be seen and is the crux of it all.

I hope these playoff games are good games! No blowouts!

Just gonna have to deal with it thanks to the transfer portal.  What did Bama lose last year 20 players?  OSU is @ 14 now and fans are calling for heads.  It's quite simple cough up the money.  One QB wants 2mil?  In addition to pay to play for your kids it's now pay to play for your fav college team,.  Gonna get better too  :)
