Klipsch Employees Trey Cannon Posted May 19, 2004 Author Klipsch Employees Share Posted May 19, 2004 Break in...depends on who you ask...me...it is like a motor...break it in as and like you use it... But to defend the man that ordered these Khorns, we did have a some dealers call and tell us that the AK-4 khorn did not have as much bass...then call back a few weeks later to tell us "never mind" they are ok now... I guess that some parts need it more than others, and you may can hear some things better than others... When I break in parts that come in the door for testing, I use a Freq. Gen. set to 20Hz @ +/- 75% of power ratting for 20 min. but then again, what is so wrong with having Khorns playing 24/
Piranha
Not a thing. Come to think of it, what's so wrong with any Heritage speaker playing 24/7?
rtaylor
Will check with the program manager, the meeting has snuck up on me. Hope to be able to make it. Sounds like fun. OK to bring some equipment or will it be too much? Will be driving in from Cincinnati and if someone needs a ride that would be cool. Can't wait to meet some of you crazy people. Hey Craig, will we see your new amp? I'll bring the BB and maybe the mac-60's. For sure the MK-II's.

j-malotky
Klipsch took us to dinner there last year. It is a club that Klipsch set up in Indy. One half is a resturant, the other half is a stage. Was a nice dinner last year. JM
