Rudy81
This seller claims these are original stock LaS? Have any of you ever seen networks like these? BTW, what year are these? eBay listing
Zargathos
The auction says they're 2004's(?)
Q-Man
Those might be the latest from Klipsch. I can't see the network good enought to be sure, but it looks like the AK-4 that is in the Klipschorn.
ricktate
Yep looks brand new,,,but if someone is close i would send them the money and go pick up and pay at same time,,,,kinda sounds funny in the add,,,,just my feeling...Rick ps those have top grills so they were more expensive than stock ones,,,
Rudy81
So, has Klipsch gone back to the alnico drivers?
BEC
That would be a yes on the alnico midrange driver. Bob
IndyKlipschFan
Will be interesting to see where these sell. I would say if those are the new x overs...anything under 2500 would be a great deal....
Piranha
Tack on a few grand for a nice sub and possibly an amp if you buy a passive.
Daddy Dee
Bummer for the seller. Waited 18 years to purchase, got them new and now the sale is forced by divorce. The divorce might not be so bad, but losing the scalas, that is REALLY tough.
Steve Phillips
Yes,they are 2004 La Scala's with AL-4 crossovers
edwinr
These are probably the nicest pair of LaScala's I've seen.
J.4knee
What are they.... they are expensive!

You have hundreds of posts, so you know what La Scala's are, right? Did I misunderstand our question?
J.4knee
That would be humor ever so coyly disguised.

j-malotky
I don't think the X midrange driver is ALNICO. I remember hearing at Indy that they are an afordable version of the mud magnet. Maybe Steve P or Trey can confirm this. JM
Rudy81
See, now you guys think I'm not too bright. I had not seen the new crossovers or the new back to the late model La Scals. The look of the mid driver also threw me off. Live and learn!
JohnA
The K-55-X actually IS AlNiCo and made by the same people that made the -V, but refined. With all thing horn, affordable is relative.
Q-Man
The company that made the "M" driver for Klipsch decided that they wern't going to make it any more. This put Klipsch in a situation for a while. They had to stop production of the Klipschorn, Belle, and LaScala untill they could have Atlas make them the "V" again. I believe this "V" is one or two db down from the original.
