thebes
Must be somethng going on in the ether out there because I'm also beating to death Nightwish's "Wishmaster". This is high energy slam and recommended to me by a fellow Forum member. I gave several copies to friends and told them to turn up the volumne a bit on the first track because the mix was set to low. It seems they are following my advice because several of them have called to hit me up for new windows.

WMcD
You're saying Robin Trower. Nice. I'm gonna crank Volunteers. Gold disk. This is a nice group we have. Here everyone is gonna take a laser to pits or a needle to the wax, and you don't have to explain why it is sooo good. Gil
DrWho
Well I just got Nightwish - Once from best buy (partially paid for with Bestbuy Bucks through the mcdonalds monopoly thing). I have a feeling that this album will be on rotation for a good long time...I cannot believe how amazing the musicianship on this is. The mastering process is a bit wierd so I think I might try inquiring about getting the imported CD rather than the CD mastered here in the US. I've always been more partial towards the european sound anyway (the american version came with 2 bonus tracks and a video though). Also, it's cool to see more and more people on a lot of forums getting into nightwish. My girlfriend has always hated them since I started listening to them, but she fell in love with track 6 - "Siren" (it's also my favorite track too that combines Indian Sitar music with metal and classical/operatic stuff). check the site out if you're interested and listen to their demo MP3's: http://www.nightwish.com
garymd
I also picked up a mint copy of Trower's "Victim Of The Fury." Played it for the first time and probably the last. I like BOSs but this didn't do anything for me. It's up for grabs if anyone wants it. 99.9% chance I'll never listen to it again.
