ARPRINCE
Geezzeee...please pass this one! Bad story line + lousy sounds = another crappy movie.
wheelman
I couldn't hardly hear the dialogue at all, and I had it loud! Even cranked my centers volume to the max. I had my air conditioner running and usually I still can hear it pretty good. It seemed like everyone whispered through the movie untill crash bang boom! Then back to the mumbling. I got regular tv on right now at a much much lower volume and it's clear as a bell. Couple cool special effects, but not enough to save the story. My brother liked it so some may. I personally found to much at fault with it.
nicholtl
I disliked this movie very much. If only they kept to the initial serious/dark tone, instead of turning gimmicky and trite toward the end.
lovedrummin
What a waste! Glad it was a Netflix rental.
nicholtl
Netflix rules!!
D-Rex
My only problem with the movie was Keanu trying to channel Dirty Harry throughout the movie. Each time he did it, my wife and I would both go, "Clint Eastwood." I kept expecting the line, "Do you want to go to Hell? Well, do ya, punk?" to pop up at any moment. Otherwise, I thought it was an entertaining movie with some good jumpy points but I never had any real suspense throughout the movie. Scary? No, not really. damonrpayne
Sounds like I will be adding this to my list of admittedly poor movies that I enjoy... (see the "bad movies" thread)
Allan Songer
Really, really bad movie. Was in production TWICE and then shut down over the past four years before finally getting made. They should have sh!tcanned it. A terrible waste of time and money.
Big Ears
I agree, very bad. The scenes in Hell were the only parts that I liked. Sound was very bad! The acting? Well...party on Ted
damonrpayne
LOL, while I do like some movies he's in (Matrix etc) I've always thought Bill & Ted stuff is the limit of Keanau's acting skill. All the ole actors are rumoured to be reviving their old roles: another Conan movie, another Rocky movie, another MadMax movie, another Indiana Jones movie. Just wait, there will be another Bill&Ted movie.
damonrpayne
Ok rented this last night. It was pretty bad, barely worth the rental fee.
toddvj
I loved it! I don't understand what's not to like.
gcoker
Watched half of it last night. (Got past the part where he went to Hell). Why is the sound so low? I'll reserve my judgement until tonite.
InnovaZero
I had no problem sound wise, voices was clear, and there were a few LFE's that did some wicked shaking. The movie had it's downpoints, but it was a entertaining flick none the less.
boomac
You buggers! I was just about ready to put this movie in the machine. Guess it'll go back unwatched but hey, you probably saved me some time and I appreciate it!
Joe Shmoe
Wow... Yes, the dialogue was hard to hear at times, but I really enjoyed the movie, I didn't think it was as bad as everyone else has posted...??
getech
Have to say, I enjoyed it....special effect were good and female costar was exceptionally attractive. No problem with understanding the dialog....time for you to upgrade to a better amplifier or preamp?
thxsubwoofers
This movie was so boring that I fell asleep.
itsawomanthing
I'm not a comic book fan so I didn't have the confusion of worrying about the comic vs the movie. It was an ok movie - not too scarey but not boring either. Of course anything that involves Keanu Reeves is good in my book
Colin
Devil's Advocate is much better...
