anarchist
Jesus. Warn somebody before posting such links. I thought that Roscoe character was going to make my ears bleed. I couldn't listen to that even as a gag.

That's some classic stuff and makes the modern day take on the subject look like the equivalent of a McDonalds Big Mac with Biggie Fry.kh
anarchist
Uh, huh. I am not much for todays country or "hillbilly" music either but that wailing, screeching voice simply doesn't work for me. Of course, perhaps I just need to be educated to appreciate it. Edit: Education won't help. I just played a few samples again at normal volumes and now have a painful ringing in my ears. The rest of the folks who meandered by my office questioned if I were maiming a dog. The answer to Allan's question is obviously caps which completely eliminate the shrilly, screeching high end. If you think this guy can sing...

RichardP
Which type and brand of capacitors are best for hillbilly music, you ask? Why, any ones that are filled with "...oil, that is...black gold...Texas tea..." Sorry, it took me a few days to realize the correct answer
