This is full of gradure like nothing else. Awesome stage show, lighting and sound. Its pure eye candy.

And Gilmore is just freakin awesome, especially the solo's on comfortably numb and sorrow

Moon,

You are correct that the DVD is not out yet. However I have this concert on Laserdisc and it is just awesome. Great picture and digital sound. Only drag is there are 2 disc so I have to get up to change to disc sides 3-4 but it kicks the crap out of the vhs version.

Without a doubt, The Scorpions Tokyo Tapes. I don't know how mant lp's and cassettes my friends and myself burnt out as teenagers but 27 years later, it still holds up. The combination of He's a Woman, Speedy's Coming and Top of the Bill still raises the hair on my neck and We'll Burn the Sky on the flip side is to die for.

Honorable Mentions:

UFO - Lights Out

Rainbow - On Stage

Deep Purple - Made in Japan

Nugent - Double Live Gonzo

Ozzy - Randy Rhoads Tribute

Nice - as a result of this thread I have ordered quite a few of the suggestions, thanks!

Sounds like I have to buy this Floyd - Pulse recording, if they ever release it, sounds great...

I just listened to The Who -Live at Royal Albert Hall, and I was a bit

disappointed. The voices just get real ragged toward the end and

the recoding is the typical over-saturated loud stage show. Nice

memories though.

I have said this before in other threads, so you will ahve to forgive

me, but one of my all time favorite live albums (if you are into opera)

is Leonard Warren - Live in Russia, I don;t know if you can even

find this in print any more, but it is an excellent recording that has

stood the test of time well.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone.

K
