sputnik
Close, but older......you are on the right track, relatively speaking...... From all the clues, it has to be Enter the Dragon - Bruce Lee. I've seen it but don't remember that line. Added: The other line that KelA put up was from Crimson Tide. OK, so here is a new one: "Size matters not." Mighty Favog
"Whew! You two smell like you fell into a dung heap..." "Kinda makes ya homesick dudn' it?" "Kinda does...." For a VERY famous movie. The give-a-way hint: Don Rickles

The line comes near the very beginning of the film as Bruce is tutoring a student on the path. After that Braithwaite recruits him for the job. Your quote sounds like Yoda from the first Star Wars movie.

ScorpsFan
"Whew! You two smell like you fell into a dung heap..." "Kinda makes ya homesick dudn' it?" "Kinda does...." For a VERY famous movie. The give-a-way hint: Don Rickles Hmmmmmm, Tom could it be "Kelly's Heroes", after they entered the town and the "privy" exploded. And since no one guessed on my 6/23 quote it's from "I'm gonna git you sucka" and here's a new one to chew on: I'm not the first guy who fell in love with a girl he met in a restaurant, who then turned out to be the daughter of a kidnapped scientist, only to lose her to a childhood lover who she's last seen on a deserted island, and who turned out fifteen years later to be the leader of the French Underground". "I know. It, it all sounds like a bad movie".

pmsummer
"Which one is it? Hump or death...hump or death....hump or death?" Gregory Peck in Moby Dick. It's the scene where Captain Ahab tries to figure out just which whale they've speared.
