Us plastics geeks would just use PTFE as an acronym; Teflon being the tradename not generally used by the snobby plastics geek. The plastic ABS is acrylonitile butadiene styrene( I am sure it is not spelled correctly). That is a mouthful! Polymer science generates at large amount of nasty vocabulary.
