jwc
Just signed on w/ Residence Inn 22nd and 23rd overnight. They said Klipsch's rate is 107, not 99. Also, they said the Klipsch rooms are peppered throughout the hotel. Anyway, sounds like nicer facilities than the Holiday Inn. Amy. I just got off the phone with the Resident Inn. They have no clue what is Klipsch, Klipsch Group or the Pilgrimage. The rate quoted was $139/night for a studio room. Is it because all the rooms are taken? I asked this....they still don't know what I'm talking about. I plan to get there hopefully the night of 21st. Is Klipsch providing anything for the mixer besides the rented room and parenting? IOW.....are they bringing speakers? I haven't seen a thread like last year of Klipsch fans bringing equipment to the mixer. jc
mikebse2a3
I called and booked a room late one night (at the end of March) with Residence Inn and the lady at the reservation desk wasn't aware of the rate at that time for the Klipsch Event so I left a voice message with a Holly Hill (I believe she is the person that handels special rates) and she called me back the next day with the correct rate. mike tn[]

DrWho
There's gotta be some campgrounds in the area too...perhaps a bit warm, but the weather is usually pretty nice in the evenings - well Illinois ain't usually that bad, I dunno about Indiana but they've gotta be similar. Heck, I bet there'll be lots of nice cars that can be slept in too! Perhaps find someone to cram a mattress in the back for ya?
BobRiff
Amy, I booked at the Residence Inn about a month ago at the correct rate with no problems. Mick What is the "correct" rate? Amy said $99 per night plus tax, but I think that may be for one person. I assume they charge a little more ($107?) for a second person in the room, which is what I have. Not a big deal either way.[] Bob

jwc
I am sorry to say that I can't make the Indy trip. I can't get off call. FWIW. I had the Penthouse EXEC suite reserved. This is a two story suite in which there is an upstairs and a downstairs queen size bed with seperate bathrooms. Shared suite and kitchen. Rate........$159/night. Would work well for two people who know each other well to share a room! Yall have fun. I want a full report of sound impressions. See you at Hope next year. jc
Moderators dtel's wife Posted April 22, 2007 Moderators Share Posted April 22, 2007 Okay guys, I did this last year and I would be happy to do it again if ya'll would like me to. Here goes...I will prepare a list with everyone's cell phone numbers that are attending the Pilgramage. When the list is complete I will forward a copy VIA EMAIL to each member attending. This worked out well for us last year. If you want me to put your name on this list send me your screen name, cell phone number, date you plan to arrive and where you will be staying. Please do not wait until the last minute to do this. If you already have your reservations and want on the cell phone list start sending me your emails now.
