sputnik
It's been a while since we had a good bacon thread. Everything tastes better with bacon - I think that I could eat just about anything if there were bacon on it. I was having breakfast with a Muslim friend of mine over the weekend and relishing in explaining how good bacon tastes and how it's just too bad that he couldn't have any as I was stuffing my face with it. I feel kind of sorry for him because there's just nothing else like bacon. I always thought that a "rasher" of bacon was supposed to be a lot of bacon (at least a skillet full) but I looked it up and it's actually only one slice, or perhaps, one serving. We've recently discovered Daily's Cajun Spiced Bacon - for a large brand, it's goooood. Has anyone tried this: http://www.wendys.com/food/Product.jsp?family=1&product=4 Or this (be sure to follow the links to "bacon cereal' and the "ultimate bacon sandwich"): http://www.speakeasy.org/~sjmaks/bcb/index.html Best invention ever! customsteve01
Thats great I just can't let Caroline see this. She is a baconfreak. I can't take her to an all you can eat breakfast cause she will cart the whole tray of bacon back to the table. hahaha Anyone ever eat a burger from a Hogs Breath Saloon?? OMG talk about tasty. They are ground pork and hamburger mixed. We used to eat at the one in Houston befor it burned down. Come to think of it I think the Spring Tavern still makes a pretty good knock off of one. Maybe I need to stop by there after work tomorrow. Damn you Sput, now I'm hungry. Steve

Doc Robin
I tried that baconator from Wendys. Very disappoinated; very small flat bacon strips. Wont be getting another one. Later Bill

arfandbark
I have a "tin" in the frig that sez grease. Part of a set of tins. It's older than I am. I strive to make sure it doesn't go dry.
JerolW
If it wasn't for butter, I'd have nothing to put on my bacon.
Marvel
If it wasn't for butter, I'd have nothing to put on my bacon. An old acquaintance from Wisconsin told me once that we could get rid of the dairy surplus by requiring everyone to eat lutefisk. []

customsteve01
Michael knows what I'm talking about. So, would you eat a Hogs Burger or a Sissy Burger??? If you don't know there is only one ingrediant that is left off on the Sissy Burger. Steve
