Arky
LSU BABY!! Trying to find a suite for the National BCS in the superdome... Man I love it when the big game is in my town! My suspician is D-Mac goes off tommorrow but LSU wins. Our other back, "Jones", is about 75%. If interested watch our fullback, "Hillis", he is rated 1st round for the draft. He lays the blocks that set our backs free, has great hands & is the only one that can catch a punt. If your abode has a Bourbon St balcony that has to be wonderfully fun. IB Slammin
Don't forget they set those lines to create equal action on both sides, ideally the games push & bookmakers collect juice, thus no risk exposure. ................ideally the games push & bookmakers collect juice,.................... JT, Being a non-player, I'm not exactly sure what that means. Just seems like (with the exception of a couple of games) they have been pretty close on AR. this year. (?) I pride myself in not having the vice of gambling, as I practice most of the others. tc Meaning if the bookmaker/bookie can get equal money bet on both sides of a game, they pay the winners the exact amount they collect from the losers so they're even. Their profit comes from collecting the 10% juice from the loser. If you lose a $200 bet you have to pay $220. In casino sportsbooks the juice is built into the nature of the bet. Anyway, glad I gave that crap up a number of yrs ago, except for when i'm in LV. JT, Thanks for the explanation. ...........glad I gave that crap up a number of yrs ago, ............... I know what you mean. With me, it was crack cocaine. Life is better now.[:S] Just kidding. Thanks, tc
Daddy Dee
So here's the Vegas odds on Arkansas and LSU...I'm not up on the gambling terms. Can anyone interpret this info in lay language? Does this mean that LSU is expected to win by 13 points? Nov. 23 Arkansas 11:30 a.m. at Louisiana State Favorite LSU LSU LSU Point spread -13 -13 -13 Total 59o/u 59o/u 60o/u Total money line -110 -110 -
Piranha
Yes Dee, it shows LSU favored by 13 and the over/under is 59. To bet the money line on LSU, you'd have to wager $110 to make $100. Happy Thanksgiving!
IB Slammin
This is a strange place for a Hog fan. Win or not, Nutt is gone. . Want to beat, a beatable LSU team that is over-looking AR? But want them (any SEC team) to take the national championship. Hillis is a hoss. He, D-Mac, and Jones are 1st round. At this point, I must say............SEC,...... SEC................ Make no mistake east coast or west coast fans, .......nobody hits like the SEC......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! tc

Happy Thanksgiving! To expand a little..the over/under # is total points scored in the game including any overtime. Piranha is right LSU is favored by 13 points & that # was set in hopes of getting the same amount of $ bet on both sides.

IB Slammin
Well, there it is. WHOLE HOG HALF HAM, ARKANSAS BY DAMN! So proud of both teams. They played their guts out. Ya know, a part of me wanted the Hogs to stop, recieve due respect from LSU, walk off the field, and let them win. LSU is national champ caliber, UofA is not. I feel great about the win, but bad for a great LSU team. Will this win change the coaching situation at AR? Nope. Great game.

BC was ranked #2 at one time. Maryland? Those teams are a joke. I always thought you played field hockey or something up there. Get real. We HIT in the SEC, knock eachother off and eat our young.[] Just kidding to some degree, but I think that the play of this year supports a D1 playoff system. That is a good thing.
