Gilbert
Here's a neat link of a Audi taking a leisurely drive up a moutain road. CLICK HERE

Daddy Dee
Yes, reminds me of Arkansas. The driver was obviously on the way to pick up a new pair of Heritage speakers.

Islander
Notice how with high-horsepower vehicles like that, you hardly ever get to use full throttle, because the straights seem so short, even on a less twisty course than this one. Also, did you notice all the skid marks into that left-hander near the end? I suspect a few drivers had to check their shorts after skidding into that one... CECAA850
Around the 1:40 mark there's a couple of vehicles on the left side of the road. For a moment, it looks like someone's driving down the hill. Yikes!
soundbound
Looks like a lot of fun to me. [au]
Marvel
I like this Pike's Peak climb by Ari Vatanen. NO guardrails at all and mostly dirt. I have this on my pc as a 60meg download I found. This will open in a new window. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-6604540639943123451
Guest srobak
Almost as much fun as when they open Isle of Man up for public speed runs
Islander
Mad Sunday. It's a good thing they make the road one way for the day, so the Joey Dunlop wannabees are less likely to plant themselves into the grilles of any oncoming trucks or cars. Thanks for the link. And now for something completely different: The Purple Helmets stunt team. They perform at the TT and at various other races, as well as at some bike shows. Check out Methane Man, with the methane powered Honda 90.
oscarsear
It reminds me of going east on the Ortega Hwy in So. Cal. You start at sea level near San Juan Capistrano and head east towards Riverside county. The roads winds through the hills reaching 3000 ft above Lake Elsinore. I used to drive that in a Volvo V40, a 4 banger with twin turbos.
