  2. Hey gang .... our painter is still here and making progress .... slowly. We're still getting some rain late in the day but able to work on some outdoor projects. All the precip translates into snow at higher elevations and some of the ski areas are going to stay open into June, according to the morning news today. The only prob is increased avalanche danger in the back country. Every year a few folks tempt fate and bite the big one. Have a great day all. Cheers.

  3. 'Sup gang??? Almost to the weekend here. That's the time of week that I work and DON'T get paid. No rain on the way to work this morning but all the dampness has created fog from hell around here. 60% chance for today through. If we can squeak by without too much rain today I may try to attack the front yard with my mower when I get home tonight.

  4. MKP are you asking about how to post pictures on the forum? If so when you post scroll down to the bottom of the screen and it says "more reply options". Click on that box and it directs you to "browse" to go to your pictures and select what you want to post. Once you select a photo click on "attach this file". Then click on "add reply". Photos must be 2.0 MB or smaller. If that's not what you're asking then disregard Starting second cup of Mayorga....seems to be my brand this summer. Tipped the scales at 190.2 this morning. Blaming that on Ben & Jerry. Thought if I rode the bicycle 10 miles a day I could have a pint of B&J Oh well....Jakes dieting too. Cheers Ladies and Gents

  11. Yes, it's made by Eminent. It's good only up to 30Hz. You'll need a conventional sub to overlap your mains and your fan.
    3 points
  12. You realize you need a regular sub with a fan sub correct? They're only good up to 30Hz.

Ahh, i see they are saying 88 today, more motavation to get that truck done quick. Heat of the day and skeeters if i dont get movin.......

  18. When you be here for instructions? Oh, I see this is more than mere conjecture. This is real world stuff. Agreed - 'Yes Dear' - is about the safest answer. And, say it like you sincerely mean it, or else. With the one great exception when she asks "Do I look fat in this?" :-)

  25. You really don't need to say anything, we all know how it works. President of the shop, doesn't matter, she could stay home and eat Cheetos all day and still be the boss, it's just the way it is. It's just a shame she is to CHICKEN to join herself I might ought to leave this alone, she would then probably talk with my wife and it couldn't possibly end good for either of us.

  29. Specs from Klipsch: Frequency Response: 35Hz-20kHz(+-)3dB SENSITIVITY: 99dB @ 1watt/1meter POWER HANDLING: 150 watts maximum continuous (750 watts peak) NOMINAL IMPEDANCE: 8 ohms TWEETER: K-75-K 1" (2.54cm) Phenolic diaphragm compression driver HIGH FREQUENCY HORN: 90(o)x40(o) Exponential Horn MIDRANGE: K-53-K 1.5" (3.81cm) Phenolic diaphragm compression driver MID FREQUENCY HORN: 90(o)x40(o) Exponential Horn WOOFER: K-28-K 12" (30.48cm) Fiber-composite cone active / K-120 12" (30.48cm) Fiber-composite cone passive ENCLOSURE MATERIAL: Medium density fiberboard construction (MDF) ENCLOSURE TYPE: Bass reflex via passive radiator DIMENSIONS: 40.75" (103.5cm) x 15.5" (39.4cm) x 14.7" (37.3cm) WEIGHT: 65 lbs. (29.5kg) FINISHES: Matte-finish Black vinyl Built From: 1993 BUILT UNTIL: 1994 They use the same tweeter and mid horn / driver as the original Forte, part number for the woofer comes up close to the Heresy III (k-28-E) The cabinet quality is like that of the "KG" line but with the cheaper vinyl wrap finish instead of real wood veneer. Certainly not the nicest of all the Klipsch speakers ever made but they sound great. I bought mine to replace my Chorus II's when I moved into an apartment several years back. The rear firing passives on the CH II's rattled the neighbor's wall and knocked several pictures down, at least that's what the note said that I found on my door. I did a quick search on craigslist and found the t5000 for $200 and snagged them up. They don't have as much bass as the Forte or Chorus but much better than the Heresy.

  30. Nailed it. I can't confirm the release time, but can tell you they are coming soon!

  31. I owned a pair for about a year, great speakers. They are very similar to the Forte but with a forward firing passive. As long as they work and the cabinets are in decent shape I'd say $150 is a great deal.

  41. Yeah and the name of the band is the Red Hot Sauce Peppers. It's a pretty crazy idea to put sauce on hotdogs. If I ask for CHILI, it will come in a BOWL with BEANS and I will eat it with a SPOON! My momma did NOT lie to me! MXR Dad, you are from TEXAS, you ought to know that! But I'm with you on the Coke thing.
