  2. Where's my time machine? I want to set it for noon tomorrow. By that time the colonoscopy will be in the rear view mirror, so to speak. The prep for the 8:30 am procedure is unpleasant. Four 8oz glasses of Miralax dissolved in Propel down. Only 12 more to go.

  5. The anesthesiologist used propofol. I requested shaken not stirred. My wife was concerned about reintroducing sold foods gradually, post procedure. The young anesthesiologist scoffed and said after his colonoscopy a month ago he made a beeline to Redcoat Tavern for cheeseburgers and chili fries. We went to a diner for eggs, bacon, hash browns, and toast. It tasted great, especially after a diet of Jello and Propel.

  6. Scalas are at $526 w / 11 hours left. Unless you are $800 on the Max side of things, i dont think you need to worry about owning them. The one thing iv noticed with this site is the last min sniping is crazy. Iv NO interest because they are too far from me. GL

  7. Good morning. While making one of the many trips to the facility to unload Miralax laced Propel, at 1:09 am EDT, I accidentally bid on a pair of La Scalas on EBTH. I doubt the bid will hold up. If it does, it's a great deal. Now for a quick triple S and then my breakfast of Canada Dry. The weekend hasn't even begun and I'm getting behind.

  10. Around here you get it fixed, you just get hailed on again. A few dents never hurt the performance of the engine and transmission.

  11. Harbor freight is NOT my Fav store, but for throw away tools, Ya-just cannot beat it. Dropped my new caliper securing tool set as well as a bearing press set off at one of my Buds house. He will run it through his "Heat Treating Process" at his plant, these will come back at a Rockwell hardness for life. Have done this Process with many HF purchased tooling, works like a Snappi or Mattco after that......and they will NOT be loaned again.

  14. Morning gang Working on my rear Dually Wheel assembly, little scraping sound i need to fix. Hitting a bridge curb with the tire last week, it has a weird scraping sound when turning left. Wheels are off and will be pulling bearing assys this morning before it gets to warm, 98 today. It seems my disc brake piston pressing tool i loaned my neighbor got wasted, he said nothing as he handed the kit back last night. The little one on the left must have crossed thread, cause it's been cut off with a hacksaw

  17. It's been a couple of weeks since I received my new LaScala 2s and they're still in the boxes. I have been battling some crazy reaction to something I cleaned my boat with on Fathers day. Blisters on my feet like burns. Its been a crazy couple of weeks. I am close to being able to at least unbox them hopefully this weekend. I will post pictures asap.

  32. initially, i asked for no meds. Doc said she’d do it if i insisted; but, she preferred that i be asleep in case she had to remove a polyp--she doesn’t want her patients to move at the wrong time. So, i agreed to take a nap. When i took my brother, they gave him the meds; but, it didn’t put him to sleep. he watched the entire procedure on the monitor. Halfway through he asked the doctor a question and he said, “You’re still awake?” My brother said he wasn’t even the slightest bit sleepy. Doc said “you must have a high tolerance for medication."

  46. Keep both and A/B them when the x-overs come back. I think the horn depends on the room (the Chorus 90 deg horn vs the Forte II 60 deg horn). I personally would probably pick the Forte II over the chorus for the lower bass extension.
