  1. I got a Zapper at Gamestop no problem. The Link is fun, but not real deep. I have been playing Medal of Honor Heroes with the Zapper and it is fantastic. It takes a little getting used to, but then it's fun. The online is also very cool and works very well. If you guys pick this up, let me know your screenname so we can get together and I can kill you.[] Super Mario will be on my kids lists this year and based on this thread we are in.
  2. The great thing about these is that you can listen to 'em for 36 hours and then smoke 'em and get stoned to the bejesus!
  3. I don't think it's Phillips thats making this happen, it's Jason Garrett. We have had great coaches recently, but crap for offensive coordinators. Now we just need Phillips to stay out the way. I have DirecTV. The NFL network just became available in HD. Being a Cowboy fan in Chicago I am used to paying for Sunday ticket although that has increased in price too. I did get the superfan HD upgrade ($100) for free this year. They did not automatically renew me so when I called in to activate they were quick to hook me up for free.
  4. OB-I knew there was something I liked about you besides your posts! I guess I am going on about 30 years of Cowboy love too. I think they can run the table all the way to the Super Bowl. Those Pats are going to be trouble. I was pretty pleased with how they played them last time and they still ended up getting killed. Good one against the skins, though, a couple of weeks ago. They just would not go away!
  5. How 'bout them Cowboys!!!!!!!!!!!! Should be a good one. Old gunslinger against the new kid in town.
  6. Overhyped and over marketed. Has everyone seen the commercial pushing "true HD" where the father and son are watching a baseball game in 1080p? My question is what source are they using to get the ballgame in 1080p? It doesn't exist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Channel 11 in Chicago is showing this (I think about 2 hours of it) I want to say a week from Sunday? Get your Tivo's ready!
  8. Tom-my 2's did not have a label and the serial number is not stamped on the back. Is there any other way to determine when they were made? thanks, Dean
  9. I can't believe I did not go to this. Toyota Park is about 10 minutes from my house. And I call myself a rock'n rolla? I think not!
  10. You are so close. Just go one more heresy. I think there is a decent single on ebay right now.
  11. Hopefully those performance bonuses are not based on PLAYOFF performance. How would he ever be able to make ends meet?
  12. I love my kg3s, but you have to go H2 in my opinion. Different class.

c/mon wheelman, make a stand! where do I start? I like music that is hard, grooving blues. Does that help?
  14. How about the integrated amps from Jolida? Something to stay away from too, or a different story?
  15. You guys keep talking like this and I am going to have to get up and pull down the screen and watch a movie!! To reply to part of your original question, my kg3's currently pulling surround duty are OK. However, a pair of Heresy's for back there are most likely my next course of treatment for this case of upgradeitus that I just can not seem to shake. I think they would really tie the room together.

I really liked the new CD. Which of the other ones would you guys recomend?
  17. Check out Rodrigo y Gabriela. Duo formerly in a heavy metal band together. They cover Stairway to Heaven and Metallica's Orion. Otherwise very latin sounding. They are somehow able to produce a nice amount of percussion with guitars only. Their most recent CD also includes a DVD. You have to see these guys to appreciate them.
  18. You could try your KG4s back there and it should be about the same effect. Be careful, though, you may really like the 4's back there.
  19. Stick to the Heresys. You have a chance to put something pretty cool together. Stick to your guns.
  20. As depressing as this thread is, if any of you are remotely fans of Ben Harper, the new one out today may give you a little hope. I posted a little on it in the CD/DVD area: http://forums.klipsch.com/forums/thread/958406.aspx
  21. Out today and it is outstanding. Mostly acoustic. I picked up the deluxe version and it comes with a DVD with them performing the album live in the XM studio. I watched it twice today ( while doing some other things), and I am working on the CD now. Quote from the CD jacket: "After 9 months of touring, and at the close of an 8 week tour of Europe, my band, the Innocent Criminals, and I loaded directly off the road and into an elegantly humble recording studio in Paris called Studio Gang. The record, Lifeline, was recorded and mixed in 7 days on a 16 track analog tape machine. No computers or pro-tools were used anywhere in the process."-Ben If the recording artists still want to sell CD's, do something special that makes us want to buy!!! An MP3 off the internet would not do this package justice. Corns likey!!!!!!!!!!
  22. I can't wait until my man cave is"true" Heritage only, although I still like to think of my KG3's as Heritage. Carl-how do you like that Jolida? I have been looking at those and am considering one as my first entry into tubes. I have been looking at the 502A in particular. Dean
